Ummm .. Trout? Tim Salmon?

Damiano Parmesiani (misspelled Palmegiani on birth certificate) will hopefully join the list.

Ah yes, Jake Trout, Jake Salmon and Jake Palmegiani - how did he ever miss those 3! LOL

f***.. I did not notice the first name Jake part until you pointed it out. I was wondering why you replaced everyone's first name with Jake.

Joey Votto plans to make another 20 day rehab assignment in the minors and has to wait 5 days before he can start it. His first rehab didn't go well.

I dunno. Can he claw his way back or is he cooked?

Below avg season last year + 50% strike out rate during rehab ... seems to be cooked. He had a good run but doesn't not appear to age as well as Nelson Cruz.

If Votto didn't want to retire, would welcome him in Toronto as a part-time DH/bench bat to take Belt's spot next season.

You can eat Wood??

Cellulose (plant fibre) is extracted from wood pulp and is used in the food industry for thickening and emulsifying certain products.

That's where the whole "fast food places put sawdust in their food" rumor started.

Votto is 4 years older than Belt (will be 40 next season), with a worse injury history, and understandably projects worse. Love Votto, he should cruise into the HOF (hopefully if the voters aren't idiots), but I'd really rather not have him be a Blue Jay when he's one foot into retirement.

Red Sox trying to come back against the Angels on the big annual Boston day

Angels got f***ed by the rain delay, Ohtani only pitched 2 innings

At risk of being swept 4 games if they blow it

Hopefully they hang on

I'd be willing to forgive Votto for his numbers this is basically his first set of at bats since July of last year, no Spring Training so see how he looks in another 40-50 at bats.

Angels hold on to win 5-4

That puts them back at .500

They still suck. No playoffs and Ohtani will walk after the season because they’ll be .500ish at the deadline and Arte won’t trade him.

Exactly

All while Trout essentially plays for personal numbers and pads his HOF resume while his team wins nothing

At his age there's the likely chance his body is just done and he can't even handle the load of a full season, let alone also being able to perform at anywhere near Joey Votto like levels. His 2022 season had some very glaring red flags that might signal he's done.

Brewers may be in some deep s***, man. This is another huge blow considering they just lost Woodruff and Ashby...

Burnes exited Monday's game against the Mariners in the sixth inning with the trainer, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.

Analysis

Julio Rodriguez flew out to center field on Burnes' 85th pitch of the night and Burnes immediately motioned to the dugout that he needed to come out of the game. Burnes gave up one earned run on three hits and two walks while striking out three in 5.1 innings and he left with a 4-1 lead over Seattle.

Ross Stripling has been off to a rough Start in SF. He's already been demoted to the BP. He has an ERA of 9 and already given up 6 HRs in 10 IP. What makes his numbers even worse is he is pitching in the most pitcher friendly park in the MLB. Looks like we made a good move in not resigning him. Aa mid as Chris Bassett has looked so far, still much better then Stripling.

Sky is not falling. Pectoral strain, may not miss a start.

Nahh f*** that designated pinch runner s***.

Don’t want the MLB to turn into a swap in/swap out sport like Basketball or my local softball league
