Lets hope our starter can get out of the first today. That would certainly be ideal.

Gausman has got this

TL: I did a tiny edit to correct the SP matchup. I know you'll l do it all up nicely later)

Springer cf

Bichette ss

Vladdy 1B

Teo RF

Gurriel DH

Chap 3B

Kirk C

Tapia LF

Biggio 2B

Surprised Montoyo didn't bat one of our lefties 6th to separate them.

Would have preferred Biggio in LF and Espinal at 2B (I'm cautiously believing in roided up Santiago), but whatever it's the 2nd game of the season.

Hopefully Gausman can go at least 5.

In 2 or 3 weeks Espinal is going to play more games at 2B than Biggio.

Fun fact: I had no doubts about the Jays yesterday because I haven't actually seen them lose in person in like 16 years, lmao. I'm sure that streak is going to end this month since I'm going to every home game in April but it's still a hilarious coincidence that the first 4-ish games I watched in my life were all losses and they've won every game I've attended since then.

Nice! I started off 15-0 in person but it was when I was a kid during the 93-93 run so there were lots of wins to be had. Since then it's been a pretty mixed bag with some losing streaks mixed in.

You had to figure Kirk and Gausman were a pair after Spring Training. Makes sense to put him with the new guy and ease the workload on Jansen.

There should be no scenario where Kirk is batting below guys like Tapia/Biggio, just for the case of righty-lefty separation.

I like this lineup.

Man, the 500s are underrated. I feel like I can see the players as clearly as I could yesterday but I have an awesome view of the whole field at the same time.

I think I actually like this view better than the 100 seats we had yesterday.

I have watched a lot of videos on the Gausman transformation. He’s really been coming an elite K rate starter. His splitter being one of the most elite swing miss pitches in Baseball.

And yeah, for the people asking about when to get there for a giveaway, my wife and I got here two hours before gametime today. Gates were already open, had a maybe 20 second lineup and there were plenty of bobbleheads at Gate 11, which is a busy gate since it's attached to the 65 Navy Wharf parking lot on Bremner.

Also day game after a night game. Nothing wrong with this move. Montoyo will have plenty of chances to f*** up during the game though.

Small thing, but the new turf look amazing and gives the SkyDome a much more ballpark feel. Excited to see what Shapiro does with the large scale renovations.

Things just got worse for the Rangers they just Placed Jon Gray On IL With a Blister

Makes sense. He was so good through 3 and lost all command in the 4th.
