TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2022 Author Posted April 9, 2022 Going to the game again today so I'll edit the lineup in while I'm on the road (whenever the Jays release it).
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Lets hope our starter can get out of the first today. That would certainly be ideal.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Springer cf Bichette ss Vladdy 1B Teo RF Gurriel DH Chap 3B Kirk C Tapia LF Biggio 2B
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Would like a less stressful win But I'll take any win

Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Springer cf Bichette ss Vladdy 1B Teo RF Gurriel DH Chap 3B Kirk C Tapia LF Biggio 2B Surprised Montoyo didn't bat one of our lefties 6th to separate them.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Would have preferred Biggio in LF and Espinal at 2B (I'm cautiously believing in roided up Santiago), but whatever it's the 2nd game of the season. Hopefully Gausman can go at least 5.

TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2022 Author Posted April 9, 2022 Fun fact: I had no doubts about the Jays yesterday because I haven't actually seen them lose in person in like 16 years, lmao. I'm sure that streak is going to end this month since I'm going to every home game in April but it's still a hilarious coincidence that the first 4-ish games I watched in my life were all losses and they've won every game I've attended since then.

Nice! I started off 15-0 in person but it was when I was a kid during the 93-93 run so there were lots of wins to be had. Since then it's been a pretty mixed bag with some losing streaks mixed in.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Springer cf Bichette ss Vladdy 1B Teo RF Gurriel DH Chap 3B Kirk C Tapia LF Biggio 2B You had to figure Kirk and Gausman were a pair after Spring Training. Makes sense to put him with the new guy and ease the workload on Jansen.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Still lots of bobbleheads gates 14 and 15. No lines
Ray Verified Member Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Surprised Montoyo didn't bat one of our lefties 6th to separate them. There should be no scenario where Kirk is batting below guys like Tapia/Biggio, just for the case of righty-lefty separation. I like this lineup.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2022 Author Posted April 9, 2022 Man, the 500s are underrated. I feel like I can see the players as clearly as I could yesterday but I have an awesome view of the whole field at the same time. I think I actually like this view better than the 100 seats we had yesterday.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Gausman has got this TL: I did a tiny edit to correct the SP matchup. I know you'll l do it all up nicely later) I have watched a lot of videos on the Gausman transformation. He’s really been coming an elite K rate starter. His splitter being one of the most elite swing miss pitches in Baseball.
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2022 Author Posted April 9, 2022 And yeah, for the people asking about when to get there for a giveaway, my wife and I got here two hours before gametime today. Gates were already open, had a maybe 20 second lineup and there were plenty of bobbleheads at Gate 11, which is a busy gate since it's attached to the 65 Navy Wharf parking lot on Bremner.

Montoyo will have plenty of chances to f*** up during the game though.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Charlie made a good lineup today!
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 In 2 or 3 weeks Espinal is going to play more games at 2B than Biggio. I see Espinal as being Zobrist-like.
Ray Verified Member Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Small thing, but the new turf look amazing and gives the SkyDome a much more ballpark feel. Excited to see what Shapiro does with the large scale renovations.
BuckHenry Verified Member Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 I think we’ll see Espinal at some point today ; he looks like an everyday player .
Ehjays Verified Member Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Things just got worse for the Rangers they just Placed Jon Gray On IL With a Blister
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Things just got worse for the Rangers they just Placed Jon Gray On IL With a Blister Makes sense. He was so good through 3 and lost all command in the 4th.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Things just got worse for the Rangers they just Placed Jon Gray On IL With a Blister Man they are terrible
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Man they are terrible Let's sweep them then.
DigitalRock Old-Timey Member Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 The stros have good players, but man they had toescar all wrong.
Masterbather Verified Member Posted April 9, 2022 Posted April 9, 2022 Montoyo is already killing me with this Biggio crap. This should not be a platoon.
JoJo Parker Dunedin Blue Jays - A SS On Tuesday, Parker was just 1-for-5, but the one hit was his first professional home run. Explore JoJo Parker News >
