Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted May 25, 2022 Posted May 25, 2022 This team will only win 90+ games when MLB allows the bluejays managers and coaching staff to win 90+ games. When MLB does not allow it the bluejays managers and coaching staff try there best to lose games on purpose so the bluejays won't get to 90+ wins. The batters and pitchers are not involved. The batters and pitchers try there best to win games. Last year was an abnormal, weird and not normal season for the bluejays because they played 80% of their home games in minor league ball parks in buffalo and Florida. That's why MLB allowed the bluejays managers and coaching staff to win 90+ games in 2021. So I won't count last season record.
Eat My Shatkins Verified Member Posted May 25, 2022 Posted May 25, 2022 Good lord Teo is sandwiched in between Tapia and Zimmer for wRC+ on the Jays. Holy s*** man get it going already lol 33 wRC+ Who saw that coming?

Holy s*** man get it going already lol 33 wRC+ Who saw that coming? He was hitting great when he got hurt. He hasn't hit s*** since he returned. It sucks. Hard to know if he's still feeling the affects (or is holding back in fear of hurting his oblique again). Hopefully it's just his timing and he gets going soon. Only 89 PA's to date and a .189 BABIP

Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2022 Posted May 25, 2022 Am I just misremembering or are Wednesday off days extraordinarily rare? Not since inter league started.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2022 Author Posted May 25, 2022 Not since inter league started. I honestly can't even remember the last off day we had that wasn't on a Monday or Thursday. All day at work today I thought it was Thursday

Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted May 25, 2022 Author Posted May 25, 2022 It's all f***ed up, even offdays on Fridays, lol. This is our only one of the year and I'd venture to say that we have never had a Friday off. I feel bad for the fans that have that done to them.

Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 Pumped for Ryu vs Ohtani Dayum So are the Angels
WryNGinger Verified Member Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 Pumped for Ryu vs Ohtani Dayum Would love to see the viewership numbers in Japan and South Korea for this matchup.
Solaxys Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 Petriello's article on Vlad is pretty much on point: https://www.mlb.com/news/vladimir-guerrero-jr-needs-to-adjust-to-pitchers The umps definitely didn't help with expanding the low/away zone against him early on but it has gotten better now, so I hope Vlad continues to adjust.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 Would love to see the viewership numbers in Japan and South Korea for this matchup. The Nintendo/Bandai Namco ads this weekend will be unreal with Ryu, Ohtani and Kikuchi all pitching
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 Eeyore speaks!!! Ahhh... So the Angels don't prefer facing Ryu to the other Jays starters. Good to know

He hasn't been right since the 3 HR game and then the ars reaming Nelson gave him. Combination of thinking he can hit everything out, which Bo shares, and an Ump destroying strike zone certainty? Lets hope he can keep Tues evenings game rolling tonight. We need him to be '21 Vlad badly RFN.

MON4NHLTOR4MLB Verified Member Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 In typical Montoyo fashion, I’m assuming Biggio is starting then?
Jays24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 In typical Montoyo fashion, I’m assuming Biggio is starting then? Should be batting cleanup just like any pitcher who gets called up immediately gets thrown into a high leverage situation. Montoyo believes everyone is equal regardless of skill level. A true inspiration lol.
RobinThicc Verified Member Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 What the f*** is wrong with Charlie Montoyo?
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 Its funny how we know Charlie so well that everyone KNEW at the announcement of the trade that Tapia would be starting every f***ing day. Can we just start playing Biggio in the OF instead please??
glory Old-Timey Member Posted May 26, 2022 Posted May 26, 2022 Vlad clearly needs a DH day after that grueling off day yesterday. Best lineup the Jays can put out there is with both catchers in it, but that would mean no Tapia, so f*** that, apparently.
