Doesn't matter. He's an alpha who yells at his players when they make mistakes :)

I think we should hire someone’s grandma to manage I think Charlie is being too hard on the guys

Yankees almost got out of that jam. Wandy Peralta got two weak infield grounders and on the first one they had a chance at the double play but Trevino juggled the ball on the release. He left a high pitch out of the zone for India and he just reached out and poked it to right field.

Upset night across the board: Yankees, Sox, Mets, Dodgers, Padres all lost.

Astros almost lost.

Did a couple three game parlays and got screwed.

I bet the Rays and Braves (wouldn't say they were upsets though).

I wonder what the White Sox players think of LaRussa. They see him make these bizarre in game decisions that suggest he's gone senile....then when they make an error or mental mistake (or just when they have fun in context of the way the game is played today), they get this guy berating them and disciplining them (to be honest I'm completely assuming LaRussa yells at players, berates them and disciplines them - but I have no idea).

It must be a confusing feeling....you know this guy's been around, seen everything, had a ton of success and once demanded a ton of respect, but you also know he's a dinosaur who's losing it, so how do you take him seriously.

And Severino is out of the game after a couple warmup pitches. Apparently his velo was down across the board.

Rays took 3 off Sox (4th game tomorrow); Mariners won. That means there's a 3-way tie atm for 2 WC spots (Sox - Jays - Ms)

Yankees are losing atm 6 - 5

Stanton HRs, 6 - 6 (lol 345 ft - Porched)

Paul Sewald saved both games of the doubleheader today. That's pretty cool. Has to be super rare.

I’m running out of superlatives to explain Shohei Ohtani. He just pitched 6 innings of 1 run ball against the Astros with 12K dropping his season ERA to 2.38. Also casually has a .841 OPS and is on track for 20 stolen bases.

Babe Ruth was doing this against drunk farmers. Shohei Ohtani is doing this against top tier athletes. Just madness.

He's unf***ing real right now. Solo carrying whatever hope Angels have left.

Also, Gonsolin is never going to lose a game; every time he is on the verge of losing a game, Dodgers stage a comeback to save his record. Came back from a 6 - 0 deficit today.

I know it’s not happening this season but really hope the Angels trade him. You just don’t know how long he will be able to do both at this level, and it would be a shame if he wastes any more of this for that franchise.

The Angels would be better off trading Arte Moreno

Angels trade Tyler Wade to Yankees for PTBNL.

I thought that said Taylor Ward and did a double take lol

Tyler Wade: Bats left.

Be prepared for this career 65 wRC+ hitter to hit 40 HRs this season.

Edit: Nevermind, he's played his entire career as a Yankee before this season, so... Guess he's maxed out.

Bird hit .218/.325/.354 (.679 OPS/85 wRC+) in AAA this season and was 5-34 (.147) in his last 10 games.

How about that, maybe there was a reason he didn't make the roster off spring training :P
