My God... the Phillies just went to the World Series and are upgrading like crazy regardless what you think of the contracts.

Good lord, 4 years at 17 mil a year for Taillon. At this point the Jays probably should have offered Stripling the QO.

No one that we should have signed and really needed is off the board yet.

 

Apart from Verlander, which didn’t think was going to happen or a good fit, Montero is the only other FA so far I really wanted and he went back to the Astros Day 1.

Seemed obvious the Giants were out on Judge once they signed Haniger. And timing of it. Getting both didn’t make much sense for them.
