His statcast page is a horror show too. Still hoping its just a really bad slump and he turns it around again. Was hoping he'd polish off his HoF resume to close out his contract.

He started slow last year as well. Seems to happen sometimes with the older guys. Takes a little bit longer for them to start back up and get going.

This dude has an MBA and makes 6 figures for doing basically nothing.

I mean, I don't know that for sure, but c'mon.

Even with six figures, she's gonna drop him like a hot potato after that display.

Or at least get some rod on the side. Keep the comfort

Martin Perez is perfect through 6 vs. Houston. Verlander is also throwing a 1-hitter in that game.

The Yankees have only played 4 games against >.500 teams. f*** them and their easy schedule

Sawamura totally f***ed up an easy play to lose in extras to the 0s. Does my heart good. BoSox lose.

lol... that was awesome!

Did you see Vasquez freaking out jumping in the air when Sawamura threw that ball into LF lol. Man I loved that.

One of these times he will be, and maybe now, but I feel like we have seen this movie before with Votto and he bounces back. A lot of ugly stats out there for offenses. I'm amazed at the Jays record given how poorly we have really hit, especially with RISP.

What is amazing is the offense has actually been in the top half, pitching in the bottom half.

Jays are just above average in runs scored, just below in runs against. League batting average is .229 with power down.

Julio Rodriguez just hit an absolute nuke for his first HR

450 feet ain’t bad for his 1st. That ball was obliterated

Benched him today after playing him just about every game because I'm doing fine in steals but need HRs and he had zero, go figure

Boston losing 9-1 to Baltimore. The bottom 2 teams in this division already seem rather clear.

Yeah Boston is bad. Trevor Story lmao

Yep, don't pay guys coming out of Colorado with extreme Home/Away splits. Most of the time, they'll suck.

Yeah they look terrible. They played over the heads last year. Story looks physically broken. Can't even play SS on Bogaerts days off.

My favourite part is that their 2 best hitters so far are both free agents, one of whom they spurned with a ridiculous contract offer.

Devers us under team control for this year and next but Bogaerts is a FA. But yeah sounds like neither has had positive extension talks.

I was just going by this year's stats so I meant JD Martinez, but I agree that Devers is a better hitter.

Red Sox look like they may be a mess in a few years. Is there anyone really to look forward to or are they going to have to start spending for talent next year?

Triston Casas should be up this year and they have a promising future middle infield with Nick Yorke and Marcelo Mayer, but both are still at A ball and a few years from making an impact.

As for pitching, there is no help on the horizon and they have one of the worst farm systems in the league in that regard. With Eovaldi hitting free agency, they're either going to have to spend some massive dollars on a few pitchers or trade from their stronger position player pool to get some much needed talent.

They have like 5 good prospects. I doubt the farm has depth though. It's probably a middle of the pack system at best.

Casas starting to stall out a little at the higher levels. Worrying a bit.

Well I mean for someone looking at him as their future 1b in fantasy:)

As a Jay fan, good news I guess
