I wouldn't be surprised if he sat around 96 from the left side out of the bullpen. If Pete Walker can fix the command a bit, he'll be a useful addition.

We didn't get Stripling for nothing. I'm guessing we gave up some half way decent players or guys with upside.

There will always be someone upset when a prospect is moved but we are leaving with our top 10 prospects intact and helped our depth for the year...without really taking away PT from anyone we need to see everyday (unless you believe Rowdy is an everyday guy, and in that case I don't care about you anyway)

Why the Rowdy hate. He came in with the game on the line and stayed on a tough slider not in the strike zone and knocked it into right field and we almost tied the game. He came into the game with a .217 Babip and his exit velocity is the same as last year, but his K rate has dropped dramatically and his walk rate has ticked up slightly. I'll take an above average hitter with a .217 Babip, especially from a guy who's showing improvement and has big boy power. On top of that he provides league average defense at first.

 

I don't think Vogelbach is going to take a lot of playing time from Rowdy to be honest.

Well I don't know about Brown, but I now too can confirm it is not Conine going to Seattle for Walker.
