    hahaha no. I would like to see both guys stick around on the bench but they are not displacing anyone as a starter. I would definitely keep Espinal over Panik and when Springer returns id like to keep Davis/Palacios over Tellez.

    Semien 1/18 Roark 1/12 Ray 1/8 Yates 1/5.5 Yamaguchi 1/3 Chatwood 1/3 Dolis 1/1.5 We're gonna be good this year. Still have a really strong farm system. And still a lot of flexibility moving forward

    What do you guys think a Lindor trade looks like? Likewise, if the Indians are really looking to dump cash ... What could a potential Lindor + Carrasco deal look like?

    I obviously want Vlad to be in the best condition he can next year, but even if he's able to make huge strides there I never want to see him at third again. The front office has consistently talked about upgrading our defence when speaking about our position group.

    I doubt we gave up a top 30 prospect in any of these deals. Maybe fringe top 30 guys similar to Conine.

    Pit has some interesting guys that can help add to our arms and make our bench better Musgrove, Williams and Kuhl are all different varying degrees of interesting. I like Erik Gonzalez. He's a + Defender all around the infield. Could fill in nicely for Bo for a couple weeks then be a nice bench piece. Adam Frazier has been bad this year but is a big upgrade over Panik IMO. Can play 2B and OF. Gonzalez and Frazier aren't great players by any means but both are definite upgrades over Drury + Panik. All 5 guys mentioned have 2 more years of control after this year too. Not sure what the price for any of them would be, but I could see the Pirates trying to dump some money too.

    Of the guys who would've been AAA/AA depth to start the season, we still haven't seen TJ Zeuch, Patrick Murphy, Sean Reid-Foley, Joey Murray, Hector Perez, Yennsy Diaz, or Elvis Luciano. Ty Tice and Bryan Baker are a couple young bullpen arms that I believe are on the 60 man as well. I would imagine we'd see all of those guys before we see SWR or Manoah

    Yolmer Sanchez was released by the Giants. Not a huge upgrade but better than Drury and Panik IMO. Maybe just grasping at straws hah. Drury and Panik just need to go

    Rowdy is not a Shatkins player. Not sure how much of a factor this is, but Rowdy is only one of a handful of position players we have still from AA era. We just DFA'd Alford who was another one. Guerrero JR + Jansen + Davis are the other guys. Obviously Vladdy is still a cornerstone and I don't see Jansen going anywhere anytime soon, but Rowdy and Davis both probably aren't long for this team. Also Rowdy just isn't that good. I think this move has some upside. I really like that Vogelbach can take walks. Got him for free. Hard to dislike this.

    What would it take to get Boegarts? Apparenty he gets a full no trade protection as of Sept.6 so they may quietly be looking to move him. How much of a discount would you get for taking on Eovaldi and his albatross contract? Very unlikely to happen, but interesting to keep an eye on Boston.

    Trade deadline is in 2 weeks haha How do you guys think Shatkins will approach it ... Giles, Shoemaker, Bass, Panik are UFA's after the year. I think the best route with Giles is to offer him the qualifying offer this offseason. He's not healthy enough to get any value this year. I don't think they will take the risk and extend him. If he accepts the QO we have him on a bloated one year deal. Not terrible at all for a guy with his upside. If he choses FA then they get a comp pick. Shoemaker and Bass I could see being moved similar to how Shatkins have moved there vets on expiring contracts the last couple years (Joe Smith, Steve Pearce, Eric Sogard, Daniel Hudson, Josh Phelps, Aaron Loup) Panik should not be in the big leagues I guess Chase Anderson could be in the conversation. Maybe Dolis too. Both have options for next year if the Jays want them around.
