I hate when players do this. I understand you have your 10/5 rights but basically your saying you don't want to go to a winning team and have a chance to win a world series. And you don't allow your team to get an asset for you and they lose you for free because they aren't going to over you a qualifying offer. Perhaps he resigns in Baltimore... I don't know why he would that team is going to be a disaster for the foreseeable future. They might actually be worse next year.

 

I see where he is coming from. The O's have to either offer him a QO and give him a larger 1 year pay day than he would get in the open market or he hits the open market with no QO attached (not that it means as much anymore).

What a pile of trash on both sides lol. I guess I like it for the Reds since Sims has been decent in AAA as has been Wisler and both are young enough to maybe figure something out.

Wisler and Tucker out of options next year. Next time they struggle it's probably a DFA. Maybe try out Wisler and Sims as relievers and see how that works.

Wisler and Tucker out of options next year. Next time they struggle it's probably a DFA. Maybe try out Wisler and Sims as relievers and see how that works.

 

Wisler was tried out as a reliever last year and he was somehow even worse than as a starter. Definitely the right way to go though, they've already done the same with Lorenzen and Amir Garrett.

Adam Warren (for international bonus pool money) is a good pick up for Seattle as they try to cling on to a wildcard. The Yankees bullpen is so stacked that they won’t miss him.
