Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Fernando Romero pitching a gem against the Cards. Hasn't given up a run in 10.2 with 5 BB's(Yuck) and 13 K's.(Wow) So far in his 2 MLB starts, he's been impressive.

G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Cubs plan on trying to make a trade for Machado They apparently tried this off season without success
Bobthe4th Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Cubs plan on trying to make a trade for Machado They apparently tried this off season without success IMO they are more likely to get him as a free agent. Surely the Dodgers want him to fill in for Seager's injury this season, and would give up more? Can't imagine the Orioles being interested in Addison Russell.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 New Player Note Tue, May 8 David Price has been scratched from his scheduled start Wednesday versus the Yankees due to numbness in his left hand. Advice: Price experienced the same sort of numbing sensation in his hand last month. And while he didn't wind up missing a turn in the rotation, the 32-year-old southpaw has posted an 8.47 ERA over his last three starts. Rick Porcello will pitch in Price's place Wednesday at Yankee Stadium. Price is headed for tests. That's a pinched nerve issue, either in his Shoulder or Spine.

Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Uh-oh, that sounds like TOS. Or DSD... one of the 2 to be honest. I hope it's the former if it were either case.

P2F Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Author Posted May 8, 2018 Harvey traded to the Reds for Mesorasco. Just about to post. Also, cash goes to the Mets. Mesoraco facing the Reds tonight lol.

Superdood Verified Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 lol @ the Orioles... Bundy just gave up 4 homers on 28 pitches to the Royals and didn't record an out before being pulled. 7-0 Royals first inning.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Now 10-0 Royals--any guess that Bundy's injured? Giving up 4 HRs like that has to indicate something.. and what about his velocity?
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Giving up 4 HRs like that has to indicate something Yup. Clear indication that he, and the Orioles... suck donkey balls. And every day they suck those donkey balls is another day closer to the gloriousness of Buck Showalter being fired and hopefully never disgracing another baseball stadium with his presence again.

They’ll surely have to explain it away as injury. Most of al for Bundy’s benefit. That was literally an all-time stinker

P2F Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2018 Author Posted May 9, 2018 Lol, was quickly scanning and did a double take when I thought I read Al Bundy. Well, if Dylan Bundy keeps this up, he could be relegated to selling shoes next.
Pendleton Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2018 Posted May 9, 2018 I thought Bundy seemed like a good value pick for tonight's free contest, I'm glad it was a free contest.
