Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 In the midst of this awful start - I am enjoying the production Smoak and Goins have provided so far - in spite of all the s*** we pile on them.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 That's why Smoak was really smart there. Give them a surer out, take one for the team. Yeah it's a way to hedge your bets so to speak. Guaranteed run or guy on second, make them pick.

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Any one else notice how they Sanchez look short in the WestJet commercials? He's the tallest pitcher on the team and they make him look short by having him come up to the shoulders of the extras. Odd.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 You guys remember last time Stroman had a 4 run lead?
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Damn Pearce has been so unlucky. Another nice swing. While Smoak is a hero for a s***** broken bat blooper.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 So Smoak's BB% has plumetted this year. New approach or SSS?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 While Smoak is a hero for a s***** broken bat blooper. I don't think anyone is blaming Steve there. And considering Smoak's track record, just making contact there is a minor victory.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Me when Edwin came up It was HIS decision not to sign and test the market. He is the enemy now.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 I don't even care if we win. Bauer looking salty as f*** is all I needed.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Nice turn from the middle infield boys

No, no one will blame him but all these instances of unlucky positioning will contribute to us enjoying more and more Ezequiel Carrera
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Lindor = hitting scientist I absolutely love Lindor. He's phenomenal. If he improved his baserunning he could put up some 8-9 WAR seasons

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 They changed their game plan vs the Indians or Stroman s rapped the 2 seam tonight...almost all cutters and sliders...very few 2 seam fastballs
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Was having dinner but was still watching from the kitchen and i have to say Smoak stole us run with some excellent base running.

Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Does Pat really need to be there when Dan is doing PBP?
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Does Pat really need to be there when Dan is doing PBP? It's unfortunate that he is there.

And not totally 'selfless' as he gets 2 RBI on the play instead of 1 if the runner is cut down at the plate. As far as it being a lucky bloop single, well he was at .284 BABIP on the season going in so maybe due for a lucky one. Pearce is only .250 and Travis is just dreadful at .179. What's a typical league average BABIP ?
MunenoriKawasakiMVP Verified Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 lololololol Saunders/Colabello/Bautista caliber play.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Lmao, Maile drilled that to be fair.

What's a typical league average BABIP ? Around .300, but for hitters it's tied a lot to their batted ball profile.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 He's lucky the ball didnt bounce further
