Saw this am in MLB rankings that Devon Travis has the worst wRC+ in MLB. Our 2B curse is taking effect. Hope he pulls out of this tailspin. With his mitt he has to hit.

Yea... and he was our penciled in lead off hitter this year lol. What a season to forget (so far).

Had to laugh at reading that RA Dickey has more RBIs this season than Travis....

I would hope both Tulo and Donaldson are actually 100% and not just coming back because they think they're good to play. Don't want another Sanchez situation.

Donaldson is unlikely to be back anytime soon, based on his comments over the weekend. Hopefully within a couple more weeks.

I don't see any more info about Tulo in the last few days.

Latos cleared outright waivers and declined free agency, electing to report back to Buffalo.

With no one biting on waivers and our lack of depth, he probably made the right choice to just stay put.

Yeah and Buffalo in the summertime probably isn't the worst AAA city to play in either. Especially if you've got an apartment set up already and are familiar with the staff down there.

You don't see it happen a lot. Especially considering he's probably below House and Boslinger on the depth chart now.

For anyone who didn't see it:

Damn, Jamie Campbell was still doing PBP when Edwin got here. Seems like such a long time ago.

I don't know if anyone mentioned it last night, but after the game Jamie Campbell said that we should expect Bolsinger to start tonight.

I hope he does well. I've wanted this guy to get a chance for a while. Could be a serviceable backend SP.

In all seriousness, that's a good question... they have Cecilliani/Ramirez and Alford on the 40 man, I'd imagine one of them would get called up. If need be for Morales.

I doubt it. Cecilliani is lucky to still be on the 40. He should have DFA'd and punted to the moon a long time ago. Alford is year away and Harold Ramirez has struggled immensely.

Smith Jr and Leblebijian are the likely options right now.

I would move Morales to the DL, DFA Cecilliani and promote Smith Jr (adding him to the 40 man roster). I would also seriously consider promoting Leblebijian and have him to play everyday at 3rd base; His promotion would be less clear in terms of who comes off the roster and the 40 man.

Having just noticed that he is leading the International League in RBIs, I would promote Leblebijian too; I would remove Harold Ramirez from the 40 man (he has been useless as pointed out above).

Yeah, I was stating that strictly on the 40.

This season would be a good opportunity to see if Smith Jr. and/or Leblebijian can play in the majors. Dump Cecilliani and another JAG reliever and see what you've got.
