Why you care though? Why does the score matter

Because most people reserve emotions like that for big time situations. The old adage - act like you've done it before.

The Phillies return for Neshek could be a comparable for Smith?

I'd be a bit surprised. Neshek hasn't hit the DL since 2010 and Joe Smith was just hurt.

Because he's an idiot for showing up the other team like that in a blowout. And it's not like its a one time thing - Grilli seems to do that after every inning he pitches regardless of the score. So when Stanton hits a HR like that off him in a blowout, I don't have a problem with him pumping his fists and mocking Grilli because he deserves it.

Dan Jennings to the Rays for Casey Gillaspie.

Another 1B prospect (term used loosely) traded for a s***** reliever. Throw it on the Dan Vogelbach pile

High price for Jennings, wow.

Gillispie is 24 and has been awful this year though. Every aspect of his game took a step backwards.

Abom is a huge Gillaspie fanboy

I wouldn't got THAT far, but they basically gave up a run-of-the-mill reliever for a guy who could be a solid, everyday position player. Maybe he never does, but it's not like they lost anything of consequence.

I'm off to Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Cincy next week for a guys baseball trip. I was wondering if anyone on here has any recommendations on where to (and where not to) sit at any of those stadiums. Also, if anyone has any recommendations on places to go or places to eat on any of those Cities - that would be the tits.

Isn't Duda a FA after this season?

Yeah, but a ~24 year old reliever who has thrown like 5 innings above high A with some inconsistent command seems like a rather light return. He has gotten good results, but still.

That's the type of return I'd expect for Liriano or Estrada right now.

It's been a weird market for hitters thus far. JD Martinez didn't go for much and he was probably the best power bat available (not named Stanton).
