I'm just saying that the level is between AA and AAA and they are doing well. Also, my home town county has a league so I enjoy following the league.

Colby Rasmus on the restricted list for personal reasons, looks like he's done for the year

Didn't know he was having such a good year too

He must need to prepare for an upcoming noodling contest. Damn those pesky baseball games!

In all seriousness, hopefully everything is all right.

Never liked the guy. He's weird af.

Lind pretty much said nobody liked him. I'm sure it's the same in Tampa.

No doubt he's going to focus full time on killing fuzzy animals now. Killing is the only thing he enjoys.

Wow in the middle of a 131wRC+ season

On pace for 2-3 WAR

In a playoff race

In a walk year

Jeez. He just doesn't like baseball that much does he?

Coming from Lind? Who's probably a bigger weirdo than Rasmus.

I was so high on Crouse and Knecht, lmao. I don't even remember why.

This trade came seemingly out of nowhere. I didn't even read or hear a peep about it.

I'm fairly surprised the Cubs dealt Jimenez, though they're getting a pretty damn good pitcher in return.

Eloy and Cease + is a really nice haul for the Sox. What a farm they've assembled, mostly via recent trades.

A few guys on the White Sox sub-reddit called it last night I think but yeah, in terms of industry insiders, nobody had it.

Really liking what the White Sox are getting back. Seems to be a solid mix of high upside pitchers and position players. Hopefully they can draft well to go with their trades. They still have a few pieces they could move from the MLB roster as well with Abreu fully bounced back and Robertson pitching fairly well (you think the Nats have to add this guy given their BP)

Could be as simple as just losing his passion for the game, for his sake I hope it's nothing more serious than that.

That'd be a piss poor excuse. His job is to swing a bat 4x every other night and get paid millions for it. There's a very very small list of jobs I wouldn't do for his kind of money. So if it's "passion" that he's lost then f*** him. Thousands give up everything in life to be where he is, he should be grateful that his "work" is a hobby. Sorry had a bad day at work lol. That said, I do hope it's something like that instead of something much more serious.

I don't disagree with you for the most part, just basically trying to say that I hope it is some dumb little reason and not a mental illness or a bad family issue that I wouldn't wish upon anyone.

I mean I get your point to some extent, but can't people with lots of money decide they'd like to do something different?

Professional athletes are away from their families a lot and at some point...the extra millions may not matter

Note - no idea of Rasmus has a family. He's really ugly

Women can smell the scent on money from a mile away, even if it leads to an ugly redneck. Without looking it up, I'm sure Rasmus has done well in the wifey department.

Panda will surely go back to the Giants now.

Couldn't have gone much worse for the Red Sox. Travis Shaw currently at 2.8 WAR for the Brewers too.

Colby always looked like he struggled with anxiety to me. His dad was always breathing down his neck, pressuring him to succeed, probably at a sport he didn't even enjoy that much to begin with. During his Toronto years he had a glaze in his eyes that suggested to me he was medicated. I'm a doctor, so...
