I really don't care what Trevor Bauer does or says.

What I do care about is that the Jays pound his ass, aggressively and with deep loving thrusts next year...and beyond.

This is weirdly descriptive.

His team blew a 3-1 World Series lead, with him getting beat up in one of those losses. I'm fine with however he chooses to express himself, but... maybe tuck tail for a while with the social media wars. Just a suggestion though.

I love Zobrist. He lives two miles from Wrigley and spent about four hours signing autographs and talking to people outside his house today. Dude is such a class act.

I think the 2016 Cubs might just be the most loved team in sports history, or maybe I'm just caught up in the emotion.

As someone living in Chicago, it is absolutely crazy today. I think the whole city would shut down if they could. Getting into work everyone is in some type of Cubs gear. For some reason I thought the parade wouldn't be this soon.

If anyone is interested the Chicago Tribune's shop has some swag you can purchase; a 128 page softbook the chronicles the entire season, copies of the Trib's front cover after they won. The one thing that I am afraid of is that ticket prices for next year are going to go through the roof (reseller market) and getting tickets will be even tougher which all means when the Jays come to Wrigley in August it might be an expensive weekend.

Nah - I think they are. Rizzo has to be one of the most lovable players in baseball. His interaction with David Ross during Game 7 about being an emotional wreck was pure gold. David Ross redemption HR in his final game at age 39, Lester's a cancer survivor, Arrieta's a story of persevering, Schwarber's incredible return from injury, Bryant's a stud, Baez took the baseball world by storm these playoffs, Zobrist is finally recognized for being a phenomenal player (after years of being underrated), Theo cementing his place in MLB history, etc.

Except Chapman. He's a scumbag (but really good at beisbol).

But you can overlook that. The Cubs have it all. You add in the curse and the 108 years and this simply is one of the most special baseball seasons in ML history. I'll probably look to buy some memorabilia from this season. Maybe a book or something. Something that I can share with my sons when they get older. This is a season that should not soon be forgotten.

I wanted Indians to win but do feel bad for the old generation of fans. Was nice chapman didn't get to close it out like he wanted though, even though he got the win. The look on his face was priceless

Really? That's awesome. I already named my first born Maddux, so I can't change that...maybe I'll buy a dog and name it Tony Rizz. I love the guy.

I didn't pay much attention to the Cubs until the playoffs, but now that I'm more acquainted with Javy Baez I feel he has a really punch-able face. The way he pimped that s***** homerun (into the Wrigley basket) in game 1 against the Giants was a joke. Then he did the same thing the next game and it wasn't even a homerun and he was thrown out at 2nd. Oooooooh, overall he just looks like such a jerk, I hate him!

I feel the same. Him and Contreras.

To be fair that homerun by Baez homerun was knocked down by wind. That looked like it was going to leave Wrigley.

Watching the parade right now. It's a beautiful day, sunny and warm and millions of fans are cheering on their 2016 World Series Champions - The Chicago Cubs. All is right with my world.

Totally with you. I can't believe that Lindor is friends with him. Lindor seems like such a nice, young man.

There was a game earlier where Baez struck out, and the ball bounced away but Baez was too cool to try to reach base on the strikeout. Reminds me a lot of Goins.

Sure looks like a massive jerk there...We should all know by now that players from different cultures can, at times, play the game in a slightly different manner. Unless you start accepting that - you're going to hate a lot of players.
