TheHurl Site Manager Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 I'm just gonna f*** my wife tonight and all will be good. what time should the rest of us be over?
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Author Posted October 19, 2016 If Pillar hasn't played himself out of an everyday role I'm baffled. Hes a great CF but hes not an everyday player. He can't hit. what's his trade value you think?
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 I understand the frustration and I'm pissed off we are down too. But so much hostility for some of the players on a team that's brought us some amazing moments into the ALCS still gets me. I don't get it. Red Sox Nation and Tex fans would love to be where we are right now. And this game isn't over yet.
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Author Posted October 19, 2016 what time should the rest of us be over? I'm usually done in 90 seconds
ComeTogether Verified Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Last inning for Estrada.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 With Martin at second. He scores considering how deep Naquin was playing Yeah I'm not so sure Martin doesn't get thrown out if he tries for two. I'd have to see a replay to get a better idea.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Estrada actually looks really good. This is not his fault
Omar Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Ron Darling after Saunders single, "thats why i didnt want Saunders to bat".......ton of bias.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 this may be a noob question.. anyway pillar can have an intensive offseason and learn if not to be an elite hitter, at least develop some discipline and be a basic hitter? Highly unlikely. His pitch recognition just isn't that great.
canadiansportsjunkie Verified Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Why is Estrada still in?
GoJays1562 Verified Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Estrada actually looks really good. This is not his fault Pitching was never a problem in this series. The offense needs a retool. Too home run dependent.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 If Pillar hasn't played himself out of an everyday role I'm baffled. Hes a great CF but hes not an everyday player. He can't hit. Lol this is a gem. The dude is a 4 WAR player.
JonMc Verified Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Estrada actually looks really good. This is not his fault The pitching staff have had a great post season.
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 I don't get it. Red Sox Nation and Tex fans would love to be where we are right now. Texas fans, maybe. Red Sox fans already were where we are right now, just last series. And they weren't exactly loving it.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Lol this is a gem. The dude is a 4 WAR player. With no hit tool. Maybe he should hit less?
Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Author Posted October 19, 2016 Lol this is a gem. The dude is a 4 WAR player. Is all 4 is the WAR based on his defence?
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Estrada actually looks really good. This is not his fault He's a fly ball pitcher. Homeruns are going to happen but this is a game where he should have had plenty of margin for error and he didn't get any.

Krylian Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Author Posted October 19, 2016 The pitching staff have had a great post season. Agreed. The staff has done its job.
ballchique Verified Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Highly unlikely. His pitch recognition just isn't that great. yeah I agree. i'd make him a designated bunter... but then base runners would be needed for any threat lol
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 If it stays this way I still want to see Jose and Edwin get huge standing ovations. Legends. It was a great run. Lots of memorable moments.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Highly unlikely. His pitch recognition just isn't that great. that's a nice way to put it. it's the worst in baseball lol
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Quality start by Estrada. Unfortunately they clobbered his mistakes. Must be so hard to pitch knowing you have to be perfect with no offensive support.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 With no hit tool. Maybe he should hit less? This makes even less sense.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Estrada actually looks really good. This is not his fault Yeah he didn't even make that many mistakes they just hammered the few he did. Hats off to the Indians.
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 This makes even less sense. It actually does. I acknowledged him as a great defender. But once again he can't hit.
rydermike Verified Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 A Visit Texas commercial, really? In the playoffs, in Toronto????
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Shapiro is going to parlay Pillar's GG in a trade this off season, most likely a small package deal for a controllable outfielder.
intrigid Verified Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Maybe jays should petition the AL to implement the designated fielder rule.
