If Pillar hasn't played himself out of an everyday role I'm baffled. Hes a great CF but hes not an everyday player. He can't hit.

He's a fly ball pitcher. Homeruns are going to happen but this is a game where he should have had plenty of margin for error and he didn't get any.

Shapiro is going to parlay Pillar's GG in a trade this off season, most likely a small package deal for a controllable outfielder.
