fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 JD, Eddy, Carrera, even Saunders have adjusted, it's the rest of the plugs that can't/won't. Eddy didn't adjust. Just JD, Carerra and Saunders
FireAlexAnthopoulos Verified Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 I really thought after yesterday's win that we were going to come back and shock the world..what an idiot So did I... then a certain blowhard opened his mouth again.
BigBulgeBlueBird Verified Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 C'mon Tulo, get something going.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Come on Blue Jays!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 I had this discussion with a friend the other night. He was beside himself that the Jays didn't adjust against Kluber...cut down their swings, take him the other way, etc. I simply said if it was that easy, Kluber wouldn't be winning Cy Young awards and recognized as one of the best pitchers in baseball. That was the end of our discussion. I would agree with your point of view... if we adjusted to Tomlin and Merritt
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Not trolling. Honest question, how many years will our playoff drought be after this year? 4 years perhaps? Get back to your vacation please.
Leafs2726 Verified Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Good season .....but I'm looking forward to changes. To see what Shapiro can do. Ive had enough of most of these veterans. Very disappointing playoffs (offensively speaking). Too much hero ball.
Don Encartista Verified Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Pitching has kept the bats in it, now it's it time for the bats to lift the pitchers.

AnthonyWeinersWeiner Verified Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Soon to be warming in the bullpen - The Final Nail in the Blue Jays coffin.
Don Encartista Verified Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 A lot of you guys check out too early. There is a lot of innings left, and Miller is not going to stay unhittable forever.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Curious to see if Shapiro replaces Bats, Edwin, and Saunders with more swing for the fences guys, We need more guys like Carrera!!! (screams the ignorant casual fan)
43211234 Verified Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Miller is going to choke and lose his command today. Someone, maybe Martin or Tulo, will hit a season-saving HR off him.
BigBulgeBlueBird Verified Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Probably 1, maybe 2 innings before Miller comes in to shut s*** down.

That was the end of our discussion. Its easier to make that case with RHP Kluber who also has great movement on a 92-94 FB to go with the breaking balls. Against Merrit its not as easy a case to make that they cant adjust.

vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 So did I... then a certain blowhard opened his mouth again. Yeah, I'm sure we're losing because Bautista never shuts up.

candymartinez Verified Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Please Shapiro have a line on a new hitting coach.
GoJays1562 Verified Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Martin with a miracle blooper.
spittin Verified Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Lol how is that not a double.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Eddy didn't adjust. Just JD, Carerra and Saunders Eddy went up the middle or the other day like 3 times yesterday. Almost hit an oppo taco.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Yeah, I'm sure we're losing because Bautista never shuts up. Motivation matters. That's why Pillar excelled in the lead off spot this season. Merritt was planning to mail it in with a World Series at stake, but the trash talk awoke him from his complacency.
Don Encartista Verified Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 Miller is not going to stay unhittable forever. And Allen can suck a dick
rydermike Verified Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 He couldn't have made it to second?
Leafs2726 Verified Member Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 No dohble??? Are u kidding me
