    They can't rely on these single innings of production. I know they should have scored more in the first but it's better to produce like we did in the first game yesterday. One good inning doesn’t kill off the opposition.

    I enjoyed that game immensely. The bats will come around. Boston played hard tonight. They worked some good at bats and their pitching was good. Good win.

    Only if our Jays push on and get the WC spot. Otherwise it's a good win and no more. Sorry but grim experience has taught me not to get over excited. Nice way to go into a west coast trip though. Who isn't enjoying what The Jays has served up this year?

    We got the win and another series for the Jays against a very competitive team. I'll wait until the BP cost us games before I start griping. Onwards and upwards.

    Good teams pour on the hurt when the opposition isn't clicking. It's still early season but the ability is there and so is the heart. I think this team is ahead of expectations. Whatever happens this year this team will learn from it.

    Streaks are great but this team has to be better against struggling pitching in games like these. That didn't really feel as close as a one run game.

    Nice game. We saw 7 innings out of Sro, Grichuk have a good time in CF and we didn't have heart attacks in the 9th. In an uncertain world it's always nice to beat up on the Os. I don't care how bad they are.

    I know what you mean but he has taken a pasting over the last few games. Considering it's Travis? I'm over the moon that he's not out for the foreseeable future with a broken metatarsal or something..

    Need something from Stroman this afternoon. We need more than five plus innings from our starters. They were supposed to be the strong point of the season and they're mostly being carried. Someone needs to set the tone - can't be giving up three early runs in every game.

    If this team is anything like it's potential, I mean I expect things to slow down some but even so...then I think the organisation can afford to eat his contract and still think they're getting value from this off season.

    This is so cool. They're not swinging for the stands no matter what pitch is coming anymore, they're waiting for the pitch they want and then they're just putting good wood on it. Just refreshing to watch more than anything. ....and the defence is exceptional at the moment. These players have something to prove. ...and goddamn,
