Who is celebrating with a drink right now?

Me. It's ridiculously strong. Kind of tastes like I'm drinking perfume. This may not be my best idea.

Holy s*** do the Jays play some exciting playoff games. I love it.

Part 1 of the sweetest run to the World Series ever is complete.

Part 1: Beat Baltimore

Part 2: Beat Texas

Part 3: Beat Boston

Let's do this.

I did a fist pump in my car here in Springfield, Illinois driving back to St. Louis when I heard Jerry's voice get excited on the radio. I knew Edwin hit it deep enough to score the runner from 3rd, but had no idea it actually was a home run until Howarth announced the final score as 5-2!

Wow I don't think I'm sleeping anytime soon tonight. What a game.

Off to Europe for 3 weeks tomorrow so there is going to be a lot of late nights haha. If anyone is over in Amsterdam and wants to watch Jays games. Let me know.

I'm just glad we get the chance to play another series. Would have been so s***** if the season was done after tonight.

Lariano is a stud. Guy was fantastic tonight and without us making that trade Sanchez would have gone to the pen and we would have never even made the playoffs!

I watched the game with the 590 stream and they were great as usual, but I saw some of the highlight clips and the TBS guys aren't too shabby either. Loved their call on the Tulo play lol

Turns out I broke my coffee table in half with my fist when Martin hit into that DP. My buddy went to sit on it and it cracked. I'll gladly buy a new one for that experience!

Liriano looked unhittable. Might be the X factor that puts us over the top. It's so tempting to start him but he's such a weapon out of the pen. Incredible job.

That's what I'm saying, use him as the 3 inning closer and giver everyone a break

Holy lmao did you f*** up your fist too then or was the table made from s***? Lol

Just start him FFS.

Today was a different circumstance.

I'm fine with using him out of the pen. Id probably only consider swapping him for Stro but the odds of that happening are slim.

No way I'd swap stro out. I like Liriano in the pen anyways and he can spot start or come into a game where a starter loses it for some reason. Gives us a chance to boot Feldman too and put in Barnes with his sexy reverse splits

It hurts a bit now, but I don't think I broke anything. It was a tough old table made of maple, but I'm sure it had a weak spot or I had a s*** load of adrenaline.

So we pretty much have to go with Estrada and Happ in Texas in my opinion. Where do you go from there?

In my opinion you throw Sanchez out there for game 3 and then Stroman. Maybe maybe you go to Liriano in 5 if Estrada and Happ get lit up, but why waste the pen arm for that unlikely scenario?

Gibbons was bad. It's just overshadowed by Buck.

Gibbons was fine today. there are always moves that will be questioned, but not bringing in the best closer in baseball, when there is a runner at third, no one out and the hitter absolutely owns the guy on the mound, is inexcusable.

leaving ZB in the pen at that point is one of the worst moves of the year.

You're missing the point. I don't think Gibbons poor management should be overshadowed by what Buck did. They were both bad though Buck was obviously way worse. It was a terribly managed game, and the poor decisions just kept working out for both of them. That's baseball sometimes.
