i) Wear the starting pitcher down - he should be at least at 100 pitches by the end of 5 innings

ii) If a tough reliever comes out, concede the inning but force him into making lots of pitches and hope he gets replaced by the next inning

iii) If an easy reliever comes out, load the bases and hope he walks in a run

iv) Wait for the 7th/8th/9th inning specialist pitchers to come out and then swing away, no matter what the situation

v) After inevitable loss, blame the bullpen for coughing up any runs

vi) Rinse and repeat
