Blue Jays Molly Verified Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 My good friend is a Cubs fan, so I guess I'll cheer for them in the playoffs.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Lol see you next year. The gods have spoken f*** the Jays appearantly.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 This is painful to watch.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Ball kicks off the pitcher, otherwise would be an out. And then that garbage infield single. This is a cruel game.
Grant77 Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Wo, Jays could end the day just 1 game up on New York and 1.5 up on Seattle. I hadn't realized how close things had become. That's what happens when you play the worst baseball in the history of the franchise for a month.
King Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 3 of the flukiest hits you will see So unlucky
glory Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Last off season went so quickly due to the deep playoff run the Jays went on. This off-season will be long as hell as all the other ones the previous 20 years.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Man lol game of inches that ball didn't want to roll foul lol
CHRIS Verified Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Dermody and Barnes. Minor league numbers aside, WTF?
King Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Ball kicks off the pitcher, otherwise would be an out. And then that garbage infield single. This is a cruel game. Don't forget the duck snort looper,
King Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Dermody and Barnes. Minor league numbers aside, WTF? There is no way you can blame Barnes for that
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Going to suck not having a horse in the race this October It's quite possible that the Rangers, Red Sox, Orioles and Yanks all make the post season. Gotta cheer for the Indians in that scenario.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 So this off season new manager? Seriously doubt it will be a playoff team just sell Donaldson and move on. Start from scratch
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 the only thing missing is a clubhouse brawl
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 It's quite possible that the Rangers, Red Sox, Orioles and Yanks all make the post season. Gotta cheer for the Indians in that scenario. If we cheer for the Indians, and the Indians win, will that be like a victory in disguise? Seeing that Shapiro put that team together it will give us tremendous hope for the future.
CHRIS Verified Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 There is no way you can blame Barnes for that I'm not blaming him for that. I just don't see how he's higher up on the list of available pitchers over than Cecil, Benoit, etc.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Man our team has been horrendous. What an epic collapse. My goodness I'm speechless. Pitchers can't make it into the 6th, batters going down 1-2-3. Unless we're somehow going to sweep the last 3 series of the year or something I think after today we need to look at wildcard only. Even if Boston loses.
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 This team has been terrible for 2 weeks. Pretty hard to watch.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 I'm not blaming him for that. I just don't see how he's higher up on the list of available pitchers over than Cecil, Benoit, etc. 5-1 at the time he cam in. Almost zero hope that your offense is scoring 4 runs to tie it. Why waste the bullpen when you have no chance?

Blue Jays Molly Verified Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 This collapse is one of the worst I've ever seen.

Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 What if Toronto wins this game? Probably a better chance that Kevin Gregg saves another game for us than this team coming back and winning today.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 This collapse is one of the worst I've ever seen. Similar to the Redsox some time back
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 We keep saying that tomorrow can't be worse than today...Then somehow, tomorrow always manages to be worse anyways.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 I've been waiting for a Kevin Gregg comeback
Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Nothing really to say. This just isn't fun. You're watching the season slip away and nothing anyone can do about it.
over500 Verified Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 What if Toronto wins this game? Lay down the pipe bro. They can barely score 5 runs in a 4 game series.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
