Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 In LA or San Fran? LA. It was actually August 27th. They won 3-2 against the Cubs. Urias pitched - I wasn't aware that he had a Fernandomania-like following until I was at that game.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Please stop, we're already dead.
EdwinsParrot Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Really didnt see the jays being the team to implode when the 2nd half started but its reality. Now they go out west where i cant see how things end well.
Brownie19 Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 This is the worst game I've ever been to.

I was there for Nomomania, it was unreal seeing a stadium half full of Japanese.

Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 The sad sight is our bullpen has been worse than our hitting. Not since the AllStar break. I think we maybe be bottom 5 since then in terms of offense. Bullpen has been shaky but when they have to hold teams under 3 runs it will always look shaky. Offense has been our downfall this season as much as it carried us last season.

Our offense for the majority of the year has been meh - in the past few weeks its been really bad Our starting pitching for the majority of the year has been great - in the past few weeks its been bad to average Our relief for the majority of the year has been above average - in the past few weeks its been bad to average Pretty much everything is going wrong at the same time.
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Not as many people as it would have a year ago. I'm rebounding from my heel turn of 2015. Will you now finally admit that you were as invested in that playoff run as the rest of us were?
Governator Community Moderator Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 For what it's worth Olerud, I thought they were spot on and funny.

And we have the worst manager in the league throughout the entire season.
gbill2004 Verified Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Jays down 8-1. I just threw up all over my desk at work. Lots of commotion now in the office because of that. Women in particular are grossed out. Guys are laughing! Thanks a lot Jays!!!
justafan Verified Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 The chances of winning the world series is probably worse than Dickey hitting a walk off homer today!

And to think this was a sure fire playoff team and World Series contender not too long ago with the dome rocking with over 40K not too long ago. JA Happ was in the CY Young conversation and it looked like JD might repeat as MVP, oh how times have changed.

havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 It seems like the Rays have blown out the Jays quite a few times this season. I remember an 11-2 thrashing a month or so ago, and like another blowout earlier this month. This is some awful beisbol.

vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 This is the worst game I've ever been to. It's always the f***ing Rays. Worst for me this year was that game where Happ gave up eight runs in two innings.
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 I will not. It's ok, I know the truth.
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Let's see if they compete this last half inning.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 FFS stop f***ing walking
Governator Community Moderator Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Couple grand slams and we got this.

youngtea Verified Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 Jays had a total of two hits. Two f***ing hits.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2016 Posted September 14, 2016 When was the last time they won two straight games?
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
