Statman Verified Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Special shout out to Ryan Goins who tried to stretch his first single of the month into a double and slid into an out. Also, JD and JB for not squaring up the guy who Goins, Saunders, and Pillar just squared up. And then of course the middle infield with their fourteen errors. Ryan Goins being good for two months last year was probably the worst thing for him.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Omg that Tempura guy sure is a batterer out there or should be battered! You are the Weakest link Good Bye! Your Fryed Tempura ! Lol

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Bullpen was great with the exception of the last man out. Hitting is the MAJOR issue with this team. Bullpen has blown a lot of games for this team, and Tepera and Storen were both s*** in this particular game (not that anyone should expect much from either of them at this point...)
Statman Verified Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 The positional players should apologize to the bullpen for their atrocious performance today.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Yer dumn You're right. It was quality from start to finish. Excellent, heavily competitive performances from elite players at the tops of their games.

polar bear Verified Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Other than Donaldson and Saunders, the offence is anemic. I don't like Pillar leading off. Martin is awful. Tulo still struggling. Ugh!!! You're being too nice,Tulo is fecken absolute shite.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Thanks Terminator, you should know being the expert on em and all!!! Lol
spats Verified Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Notice that not one Blue Jay came over to console him. They all realize that he doesn't belong in the majors but the Jays keep bringing him up. I am guessing that this is his final game in the big leagues.
bones10 Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Had to go to class after the bottom of the 8th. Why couldn't Floyd pitch more than one inning? Day off tomorrow?
guylaroche5 Verified Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 God speed Travis, save us from this below replacement level trashcan
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 This team made me Shed Tears of sorrow into my Rum, now it doesn't taste right! 😥
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Had to go to class after the bottom of the 8th. Why couldn't Floyd pitch more than one inning? Day off tomorrow? He pitched at least two, IIRC. Tepera was all that was left. The only possible SP left might have been Estrada.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Storen was fine... Yeah, that ain't fine. Inability to finish off hitters, complete lack of control (a lot of the strikes were nowhere near where they were called). He was incredibly lucky to get out of that inning unscathed.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Yeah, that ain't fine. Inability to finish off hitters, complete lack of control (a lot of the strikes were nowhere near where they were called). He was incredibly lucky to get out of that inning unscathed. Totally. Game should have been done in the 10th but it wasn't god's will. Jays couldn't capitalize on the huge break, though. Actually neither could the Giants but Tepera had other ideas.
CJ-Freeway Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 That bottom of the 13th was the fastest meltdown that I've ever witnessed in 14 years of watching this sport.

Yeah, he missed his spots every pitch.

Sergio Santos and JA Happ team up for 14 walks and 30 wild pitches (or something), blowing the lead and eventually the game. Maybe the worst performance I've ever seen. I think it was game 2 of a double header?

admin Site Manager Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Wonder where we'd be if we traded Saunders.

Is that the game where it was super freezing and Bautista was dressed like one of the soldiers from Metal Gear Solid? http://40.media.tumblr.com/50547985b426757b8079fb0d6e4a602c/tumblr_n43q4ua7c81r37slco1_500.jpg http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/metalgear/images/1/17/Jonathan-mpo.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20080610033649

Martin would setup on the outside he'd throw it on the inside and vice versa. He got lucky as f*** it was the Giants line up.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Is that the game where it was super freezing and Bautista was dressed like one of the soldiers from Metal Gear Solid? I don't remember, but I looked it up. April 17th, game 2 of a DH in Minnesota. Jays up 5-3 in the bottom eighth. BP comes in: Delabar: 0.1 IP, 2 ER, 2 BB Santos: 0.0 IP, 3 ER, 3 BB Happ: 0.2 IP, 1 H, 1 ER, 3 BB I know there were lots of wild pitches in there but maybe nothing that contributed outside of the walks? Couldn't find the count. Anyway, Jays lost 9-5 on 8 8th inning walks.
