And I'm fairly confident that many of those "4SM" on Brooksbaseball were actually 2SM missing high, since most, if not all, had the same horizontal movement as the 2SM.

Hopefully they realize it's not the windup but the pitch in general isn't working.

At the end of the day Stroman did his job against the White Sox. Only gave up 2 earned runs and if the defense did it's job it would have been tied 2-2 in the 8th inning. Not a good start but 100% acceptable

Well yeah, he went out and pitched, that's his job. He didn't do a very good job though, nothing was really different between this start and most of his recent ones, except a perceived increase in his 2-seam's velocity.

His pitch selection was actually worse imo and his offspeed still can not be used effectively because he can't throw strikes with the 2 seam.

So then aren't you agreeing with me that he wasn't good? His results were just as poor as what we saw from him this afternoon, save for some good pitches made to Jose Abreu a couple of times.

No this is clearly a mechanical one. They changed his arm positioning and he was wild. I see good things though.
