- Not pinch-hitting for Goins down by one run on Tuesday

- Not pinch-running for Smoak down by one

- Not bunting with Pillar with a man on first, none out, down by 1 8th inning

He seems to be completely out to lunch so far.

The not bunting was smart though.

Richard Griffin is a gift

Hmm. #bluejays take only Joe Biagini to Montreal from entire bullpen then 4 days in can't use Cecil, Storen, Osuna for last 6 outs. #dresses

Disagree. Pillar is a s***** hitter. Get the tying run in scoring position for Donaldson and JB.

Sac bunting is almost always stupid. Especially with a low K hitter like Pillar.

I don't like the bunt, but Pillar suxxxxxx

Chance one or more run will score:

Runner at at 1B and 0 out: .416

Runner at 2B and 1 out: .397

This doesn't even account for the chance the bunt is unsuccessful.

I am vastly and predominantly anti-bunt. I hate bunting in almost every scenario. One exception for me is a late inning when you're down by exactly one run with a runner on first, nobody out, and a crappy hitter at the plate.

wouldnt it though?

Unless of course you just pulled these numbers out of your ass :P

The bunt being unsuccessful would mean runner at 1B and 1 out in the best case. Obviously that's worse.

Shapiro could have fired him. The fans hated Shapkins anyway. Now we are stuck with this hick, and the only way out is if the team starts poorly (which is not an ideal situation).

-Leon... hell anybody over Sotren, but especially f***ing Leon

-Smoakabello over both Saunders and Martin in the order

-WHY THE f*** IS PILLAR LEADING OFF?!?!?!

I can see Gibbons being on a short leash this season and any small glimmer of failure he could be gone which means whether you like it or not next season Shapiro will get his wish and be reunited with Francona

I'm sorry, but I must to condition the event as such.

Jose + one out + runners 1B-2B or Donaldson + one out + runner 2B >> Pillar + no outs + Runner first.

Just because you put good in green and bad in red doesn't mean anything. Pillar is not Ryan Goins.

Scoring one or more runs would be great, but I'd really be ok with just one there. All context is stripped out of those numbers also, JD and JB are VASTLY superior hitters to Pillar.

You know, while I despise this outrage culture, remember how Yunel Escobar was gifted away for nothing over a stupid eye black "joke" that people fell over themselves to be offended by (DERR HOMOPHOBE!!1!!!!!!!!)? Wonder if enough faux outrage can be drummed up to get this f***ing moron fired.
