nmrch Verified Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Hendricks leads teh Jays relievers in WAR and has a 2.82 xFIP with only Cecil's being lower. Can someone explain to me why that useless f*** Gibbons thinks he's only good enough for middle relief?
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 I'm pretty confident that Gibby would go to Dickey in game 7 if we use up stroman and win tonight. I'd use Hendriks if he doesn't go tonight. Give me 4/5 IP of Hendriks then the pen over Dickey.

Governator Community Moderator Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Just win this game. I don't want to puke right now.
Shogun89 Verified Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Could the piece of s*** American commentators have sounded any more morose when Bautista hit that 2nd home run?
Praxis Verified Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 So just to be clear, Fox says they pushed the wrong button, they meant to hit the game 7 Royals vs Jays graphic and that there is no conspiracy. Doesn't this beg the rather obvious question then as to why the f*** that world series graphic was ready at all?
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 I refuse to believe he was a problem in the clubhouse.

EMK19 Verified Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Joey Bats may as well go full David Freese on this occasion and also bring in the winning run (although it wont walk it off, obviously). Then "we'll see you in game 7!". Sorry Mark Lowe.
ColdPint Verified Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 For those who don't believe in "clutch" take a close look at Bautista's numbers from the 7th inning on. It's undeniable.

fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Yes but how could you go with anyone else. Estrada would probably pitch in that game no matter what. Man Stroman coming in f***s up everything. I would say just bring in Hendriks tbh, but I don't know how I feel giving Henriks the ball when one swing can change the game. I hope the rain clears late, Davis is out and Hochaver is in and we can tee off to win in the 9th
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 i was loving that Gibbons interview... he's just a simple likeable hick... but why would he give up the fact that he might put Stroman in.. c'mon guy...dont' have to volunteer the entire game plan.. a "we'll see where we get to after this" would suffice... Seriously. Imagine a Super Bowl halftime interview: "Yeah we might start running some more blitzes to keep their defence off balance."
Auldphartt Verified Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Joe Buck ruins FOX's rep a little bit more every time he opens his mouth. Fox doesn't need Joe Buck to ruin their rep. It was dirt long before he dragged it even lower.

Buster Verified Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 The answer here is obvious. Pennington.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 I refuse to believe he was a problem in the clubhouse. clubhouse manager confirmed he was, i never saw/heard anything though.
comeon sense Verified Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Is Rose on 'roids? His head is as big as Bonds'... He bet Bonds he would have a bigger head in 2015
nmrch Verified Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Although Stroman gets a ton of Grounballs so KC likely wouldn't win the game with 1 swing of the bat unlike Hendriks who seems to give up some Homeruns with the fastball. You would be kind of screwed for tomorrow though.. Hendricks has given up 2 homeruns in 700+ fastballs. He has a good groundball rate, Osuna is the real threat to cough up a homerun
ColdPint Verified Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Just win this game. I don't want to puke right now. If we lose this game at this point it's going to hurt a hell of a lot more than if the Royals got 6 up 6 down to end the game.

vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Aw I love seeing this stuff.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 I refuse to believe he was a problem in the clubhouse. It was reported in Oakland by one of their beat writers that he has no friends in the clubhouse and that the A's won't bring him back because of him being a problem in the dugout

You would be kind of screwed for tomorrow though.. Um, Hendriks has a GB rate of 46.3% and a(n unsustainable) HR/FB or 5.5%...
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Yeah after the Revere catch and that homer, please win now.
