Because he's a simpleton.

 

Honestly...I hate ragging on Gibby because he is a decent man and we could do worse for sure. But its shocking we are still in this game with a couple of his moves tonight.

This is quite an intense game for sure. I have not been able to relax through any of the innings so far.

Gibbons hates Hendriks.... no idea why, remember most of us thought he might be dead a couple days ago

 

Hurl made a good point about the 4 innings two days ago though. I'd still prefer him over rushing Stroman but I could see the argument for taking him out of consideration in this particular case.

Yost really seems to want to use Wade Davis again, apparently he is staying loose "upstairs".

 

Wouldn't mind that either, I can't see him having the same effectiveness after such a delay, pitchers are incredibly sensitive to routines...

It was reported in Oakland by one of their beat writers that he has no friends in the clubhouse and that the A's won't bring him back because of him being a problem in the dugout

 

Does anyone have a link for this? Can't find anything.

Would be pretty absurd. Wasn't that sharp and now he'll be ice cold. Lowe is a better choice and a better pitcher in the first place.

Hendriks should be able to go an inning but not more. Lowe is a one inning guy and probably who should have come in with runners on
