Another post why SRF isn't ready.

A clip of his strikeouts last night showing his poor command/control. This stuff works in the minors, but not in the majors.

You're just burying yourself with these posts. Outside of the last K (on his rising 4FB no less) he hit his spots.

Outside of watching him strike out 8 in 5 innings. The only thing worth dissecting from that video is the beard look is much better then moustache look for him.

Hes no Brock Lundquist

D: Does Jordan Groshans have any top 100 buzz? Or is it too early in his career?

Kiley McDaniel: Little early but has the tools. Some elements of Carter Kieboom, so that’s a best case scenario, but I’d say less feel to hit than Kieboom.

Vlad hitting .476/600/714 in AAA after that last home run.

This is truly unprecedented. The best minor league hitter ever.

Doesn't count. Hanging breaking ball.

The fact that most hitters would have been keyholing a fastball on a 2-0 count would have taken that breaking ball on the outer half and moved on. Vladdy just isn't human. I have to keep reminding myself that he just turned 19 this year.

It's really unfair to Vlad to keep him in the minors, he's clearly ready, but dammit the Jays have to play the long game here. Hopefully MLB can make the next CBA more player friendly, but it always seems to get less player friendly.

His bat is ready, but it doesn't mean his defense is.

Joey Murray 2018 8th round pick in Vancouver : 16 IP O ER 23 K 1.06 WHIP

He was the guy known for deception making his stuff play up, cool to see him picking up right where he left off in college.

Oh. My. Goodness.

Man that swing reminded me of his dads there.

Cavan Biggio 2/3 with a HR and 2 BB today. Slashing .260/.403/.537 on the season with 24 HR and 84 RBI.

Should be up in Buffalo next season along with Bichette.

Hector Perez: 4 ip, 2 h, 2 er, 7 bb, 6 k, 0 hr

Man those walks aren't going away any time soon, are they?

Harold Ramirez is 3-3 with his 10th HR. He's still young despite repeating AA (23) and was a top 100 prospect before. Apparently not a good defensive player so that limits his value. Wonder if the Jays add him to the 40 man before the Rule 5.

4-for-4 today now

He's hitting 10% more FB than he has for most of his career and 10 HR is pretty much double his career high in a season. So while he's being aided by BABIP it does look he like made some changes.

Jays have a ton of OF options, especially when it comes to the 40 man. Might be seeing some trades to clean up some of the clutter.

Harold Ramirez has been on the 40-man roster before. He was actually DFA’d and went unclaimed before. Its pretty shocking nobody picked him up considering his age.

Good to see him have success this season.

Yikes those walks are no joke.

I believe he was outrighted, not DFA'd so he was never exposed to waivers

Harold Ramirez is repeating AAA for the third straight season. Even if your want to look past the fact that his repeating the level is a major red flag, he simply doesn't have much upside past 4th outfielder.

This is true (although it's AA, not AAA).

He'll be 24 in less than a month. Pompey still has more upside - and that's saying a lot.

Speaking of Pompey's - Tristan's off to a good start and has already been moved up to A+ ball.

tom: I know he’s only 17, but is Wander Franco a guy you see in the majors at 19, like a Juan Soto. What’s his power ceiling?

Keith Law: Yes. 25+ homer guy. I’ll be shocked if he is still on the minors on the day he turns 20, barring injury.

Kid's numbers are just silly. How does a 17-year old have a 6% K-rate and 0.250 ISO in pro ball?
