That's some terrible assuming sir. Hamels will be throwing Game 5 on full rest if needed - that's a guarantee.

I am not assuming anything, those are the listed starters per Yahoo.

Regardless, Price > Hamels anyway. If they slot in Perez for Lewis we are still favoured in that match up with Estrada. The Rangers should have went Hamels game #1 and #4. That would have given them a better chance at forcing a game 5 were anything can happen.

I have a sneaking suspicion that the Jays are going to pound Hamels.

Very small sample (one or two starts if that) but career numbers indicate that Jays hitters in total hit over .300 vs him, so I wouldn't put it past them.

Just stop man. Hamels just threw Sunday to help them clinch the division and would be on 3 days rest to pitch Game 1. They get him Game 2 and Game 5 on full rest - that's their best option.

Don't know if this was posted any where but Memories of mine from the 92-93 teams were the coca cola commercials they used to play and they did one again this year and it just had me smiling from ear to ear:

Bringing back the song from the Coca-Cola Blue Jays song from the nineties is one of those ideas that seems painfully obvious until it actually happens at which point you realize that once you remove the nostalgia factor, there's nothing to actually like about it.

I haven't had a chance to read through the last handful of pages but this is from BPs breakdown of the series:

First they have Pennington as the starter over Goins at 2B. And then this beauty of a paragraph...

Barring an injury or blowout, Navarro is not going to see action behind the plate. He's unlikely to see action at the plate either, presuming the Jays decide to carry him as their only backup. On a related note, Pompey could be subbed off the roster for someone like Munenori Kawasaki or Josh Thole. If he remains, he'll offer plus speed off the bench. Carrera is even more of a burner than Pompey, and John Gibbons used him frequently as a pinch-runner throughout the season. He also could provide value as the designated bunter, since he led the Blue Jays in bunt hits and finished second in sacrifices.

My brain hurts. This is from Baseball Prospectus? WTF?

Do they list the author?

Not sure if serious?

That is written someone who has not watched a single Jays game all season, and did minimal research before publishing. Terrible. Almost everything in that paragraph is wrong.

how do you guys like that song..its awful

Just read the comments on it, when I heard it I thought it was a joke. Literally the most cheesy song I have ever heard in my life

I think it's mostly a generational thing though I'm with the youngins on this one.

I loved every second of it from a nostalgic standpoint. Just a rush of memory and I've been humming the damn tune since.
