Donaldson, Bautista, Edwin and Tulo are all pretty interchangeable from 2-5, I guess.

Anyone have any stats on what the Jays record is when down a run after the 7th inning? Even though the offence is very good it seems like they can't score runs in the last few innings of 1 run games. I think the Jays need a LH bat to counter all the RHH.

Yeah, it'll be the trade acquisition in all likelihood. Can't see them bring Norris up considering they want him to focus on his fastball and refining it (which explains the poor numbers command. Throwing it 75% of the time, hitters can just sit on it). I suspect Tepera is next once the new starter is brought in.

 

I'm going to Sunday's game and that's where the empty spot is due up.

It was a 25man roster issue, not a 40man roster issue. They needed a MLB roster spot and the BP depth they'll call up someone else in 4 days for the start.

Nope, he just had to be put on waivers to be sent down if he has no options.
