And I thought the Marlins were a horrible organization.. who is running that circus in Flushing? They should be an elite club.. yet they continue to be a non-contending team that hasn't seen a playoff game since Carlos Delgado played for them (2006)

After the way the Gomez deal was handled, no team will likely trade with the Mets now unless they overpay. Don't expect them to be able to make a trade.

Who says it was their organization? Leak could have just as easily come from the Brewers side. The fact that it was on their page means nothing since MLB media is centralized.

Backing out from a trade you wanted to do anyways because of a leak would be incredibly short-sighted. This was a good trade for the Mets and I highly doubt they would have backed out of it for something so trivial.
