Umps use that hallway, go Peter Gammons Verified account @pgammo through the dingy visiting clubhouse. There was an ugly incindent this week between Jays and umps @ end of game.

Don't like to hear that. Pissing off the umps collectively isn't a good idea.
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Give the cops a hard time and see what happens. Same with umps. Stupid move, keep the umps out of the equation no matter what.

JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 I'm glad the jays gave the umps s***. So you think the same umps will favor the Jays batters on close pitches? I don't think so. You're an ******* to them they will be to you. And guess who the losers are.

JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 So you want grown men to shut up and be quiet for other grown men who are in the wrong? They are MLB umpires with many years of experience, you show them respect no matter if they missed a call. Screaming at them and taking little fits isn't the answer, you're just making matters worse for yourself, they are still the ones making the calls after you react to them and don 't think they will be in a good mood to help you out. They will be a lot nicer to players that are nice to them. Common-sense.

Joe west would be calling little league games if there wasn't a union as strong as the umpire union protecting him
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 Umps should be held accountable. Tired of these clowns consistently blowing calls. I still think its rediculous that unpires have they're own strikezone. The strikezone is f***ing strikezone. Yes, I agree 100%. They should use the electronic computerized strike calls, zapped those f***ers when it's a strike. Fair for both teams.

Joe west would be calling little league games if there wasn't a union as strong as the umpire union protecting him I think you are missing my point, the batters are hurting themselves by arguing with the umps even when the umps are totally wrong which they are often but they are also human so their emotions will make them react to the batters offencive behavior towards them, it's human nature.

Umps are bad but you are dealing with humans, have you ever umpired? Unless you are a robot calls will be missed, I think some fo you forget human error will always be there with humans, crazy I know. Calling a ball coming in at 95 MPH an inches off the plate a strike or ball is never going to be correct 100% of the time

Seems to happen a lot to our Canadian team.

Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 how much you guys wanna bet it was Bautista involved in the "ugly incident"? I swear to god he's a f***ing idiot by constantly showing up the umps. Of course they try to f*** him over. Wouldn't you? No, I'd still call it as I see it. But lots will be vindictive

I always find it funny that those complaining about Bautista exhibit the exact same temperament they are complaining about in the manner in which they post . Look in the mirror. Complaining about something without any evidence that Bautista was the guy is hilarious. I doubt it was Bautista.

saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 ********. Squeaky wheel gets the grease. You think the umps penalized Youkilis for being the biggest douche of them all? Nope. yeah...oritz whines after every pitch. The reason isolated incidents don't hurt a team as a whole is that every team has complainers. Bryce Harper got a called strike three on a three and two count a couple days ago and started arguing with the ump and then started jogging towards first! If anything Bautista seems to complain less than he did a couple years ago, and he's not stupid..he's not going to do something like Harper did....but bats is an emotional guy and a bad call in a close moment in the game and he's going to let the umps know from time to time.
