Zaun of the Dead Verified Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Oh wow f*** AA for not having a 3 win pitcher immediately available to call up smh if AA had upgraded the rotation during the offseason instead of focusing on positions that did not need more attention this injury would potentially not be as devestating. instead, the ONE GUY who we didn't want to see go down has gone down, leaving an already pretty thin rotation in shambles. If AA had managed to get another solid starter we wouldn't be as rocked by this.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 AA on 590: We have the ability right now to add a player if the situation presented itself #BlueJays AA on 590: No concern that the Stroman injury will impact him in the future. Expect him to make a full recovery. #BlueJays
Zaun of the Dead Verified Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 that's ********, they won't do a thing and he knows it.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Well at least we have starters depth. Who knows these things

I feel like if we replaced Bautista with Mike Trout you'd be like "should've dealt him for pitching, didn't need to upgrade."
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 I want to move to Boston If you're trying to get yourself killed, you might have more success with Baltimore or Detroit...
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 If you're trying to get yourself killed, you might have more success with Baltimore or Detroit... Apparently moving is what is required for a 22 year old to cheer/see a winning team, in a city that has 4 professional sports teams. nah all good WS is ours!
Jonzo Verified Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Seriously tho, how does a healthy fit 22 year old tear an acl by fielding a ball
bendera3 Verified Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Seriously tho, how does a healthy fit 22 year old tear an acl by fielding a ball He probably pivoted and his cleat got stuck in the grass and his momentum took him.

StroShow Verified Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 same thing same same, but different
flafson Verified Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Any remote chance he will be ready for playoffs?
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Damn. I kept saying that he was injury prone... but f***ing bunt drill? Didn't see that coming.
StroShow Verified Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Seriously tho, how does a healthy fit 22 year old tear an acl by fielding a ball As he was turning and stopping his knee must have buckled and contorted all at the same time. ACL tear is the worst outcome (aside from a fully blown knee I guess).
Zaun of the Dead Verified Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 same thing haha dude you are seriously comparing AA's offseason additions to mike trout? get outta town.

Lol, upgrading the replacement level catcher for one of the best catchers in baseball doesn't count as focusing on a position of need? This organization is loaded with pitching depth.
StroShow Verified Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 haha dude you are seriously comparing AA's offseason additions to mike trout? get outta town. The difference between Martin and Navarro or Donaldson and Lawrie is pretty large bro.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 thanks for the support guys! hivemind ya!! your best friend, GD
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Also, in terms of injury f***ing us: Donaldson > Martin > Bautista > Stroman. Losing Reyes might even be more significant.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Seriously tho, how does a healthy fit 22 year old tear an acl by fielding a ball Have you ever even played sports before
Governator Community Moderator Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Don't even get to see one stroshow all season I mean.. f***!@!# We're so f***ed. wtf is estrada going to do in the dome? He's going to break records for homerun totals, that's what. If we couldn't get a reliever for Navarro at this point in the offseason the cost for a rotation arm above an Estrada is a scary thought.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 I know, I know I shouldn't be surprised or annoyed because I follow these guys on Twitter, but I hate posts like this: Why would goals change? Because one guy goes down, tank the season? It's just such a go-nowhere statement that I wasted 5 seconds of my life reading it (and another 2 minutes posting about it). In other words, it was a tweet.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 And only a real ******* would cheer for a team outside of the city they live in Toronto will always be my city and team.... but seriously I'm 22 and have never had a true victorious team to cheer for. It's depressing! This injury hurts but we should be okay with norris/sanchez/estrada. Here's hoping to a healthy rest of spring.

Think of it on the bright side, at least you've been alive in a period where the Jays were at the peak of their success.
crmr Verified Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 Bautista for Mike Trout would be less added WAR than signing Martin and trading for Donaldson. Who cares about WAR? I'm hoping for wins
CrackerJack Verified Member Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 thank god for the second wildcard ...
