if AA had upgraded the rotation during the offseason instead of focusing on positions that did not need more attention this injury would potentially not be as devestating. instead, the ONE GUY who we didn't want to see go down has gone down, leaving an already pretty thin rotation in shambles. If AA had managed to get another solid starter we wouldn't be as rocked by this.

As he was turning and stopping his knee must have buckled and contorted all at the same time. ACL tear is the worst outcome (aside from a fully blown knee I guess).

If we couldn't get a reliever for Navarro at this point in the offseason the cost for a rotation arm above an Estrada is a scary thought.
