I was watching the Rangers/Angels game and I thought I read torn UCL along the ticker, silver lining torn ACL, this f***ing sucks. During a flipping bunting drill, this teams luck?!

Earlier in the offseason I had a dream that Stroman missed the whole year with TJS. Looks like I wasn't all that far off.

 

Feels snakebit being a Jays fan.

Toronto will always be my city and team.... but seriously I'm 22 and have never had a true victorious team to cheer for. It's depressing!

 

This injury hurts but we should be okay with norris/sanchez/estrada. Here's hoping to a healthy rest of spring.

 

I'm 32 and 2 rings. Im glad to be Jays fan.

We really need Norris & Estrada to play decent, hope Santana pulls off a miracle comeback and/or Osuna-Castro to be expedited quickly.

Navarro: Tweaked knee on Mar 9, will miss about a few days

Encarnacion: Inflammation in lower back. Shut down 4-5 days.

Viciedo: Right foot infection, will miss about a few days

Saunders: Left knee injury, hit in batting cage on March 10

Stroman: OUt for season with torn ACL in knee (3/10)

Santana: began throwing on Feb 28; unlikely for opening day

Cecil: Shoulder, resumed throwing off flat ground, Mar 10

The fact that we are talking about best options and they aren't devastating to the team should prove them wrong. But every team losing a really good player is going to take some sort of a hit. I'm waiting to hear about Reyes missing the season from complications arising from the Clap before I do my "told you so's"

Prayers and thoughts to Stroman and the Blue Jays organization. Such a sad loss for the team and baseball. I have always been a proponent of Stroman and his great makeup.

It's really starting to sink in what this means for the Jays chances and what will happen when the inevitable injury happens to another SP.

 

Stro was one of the most entertaining players we've had in some time and it's going to f'n suck not being able to watch him carve up batters for a full year.

 

Not to get too far ahead of things but what will this do to his arm and innings limit in 2016? I'm sure they won't risk an arm injury by having him throw off a mound until the ACL is fully healed and does not in any way affect his mechanics.

No doubt this is a huge hit, and I'm almost certain we will see another couple names on the DL before April hits.

 

My money's on Norris for a staph infection contracted while trying to shower in the Walmart bathroom.

Injury or no injury this is it for AA lose here and he will never be gm in mlb again. His 6th year now.

Something tells me he will be a GM again whether it's for the Jays or another team..

Please someone tell me there is a decent chanc he pitches in 9 months.

 

I'd assume he would have a very lengthy rehab and pitching in the minors before he pitches in a mlb game. Why would it matter if he pitches in November/December anyways?

Garbage post, I and many were saying pitching was an issue the offseason BEFORE stroman got hurt, look it up, a brainless baffoon could see it was a major issue, BEFORE stroman got hurt. Nothing to do with hindsight, just need a brain. Paper thin, never improved the rotation at all, too much reliance on young unknowns.

We needed to add a starter the offseason a good one, has nothing to do with someone to call up. I and many been saying this for months.
