Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Another absolute garbage outing by Sanchez. Only 2K..... horrible
Caper Verified Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 He's hurting the team. I don't know how you homers can't see that. Sanchez sucks. Should be in AAA. Not up here hurting the team. I mean he just f***ing struck out the last batter in the 8th. But Carter never swung, so Sanchez sucks.
Caper Verified Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Hey Nox. Did anyone ever tell you you're a f***in meatball?
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 0 walks for Sanchez tonight??? Is this real life?
King Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 No sign of BTS, Nox, King..... WTF? I've been posting in the GDT the whole game?
King Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 2nd in the GDT in post count http://i.imgur.com/Ly1k9Pv.png No sign of me!
Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 No sign of BTS, Nox, King..... BTS is probably the worst. He literally never posts when the team is playing well or a player he hates is doing well.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 WTF? I've been posting in the GDT the whole game? good tactic.... when you f*** up, get out in front of it
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 No sign of BTS, Nox, King..... Lmao, King has been in the GDT all game long. You need to get your head out of your ass.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 It's almost as if you guys think that we want to see Sanchez fail. And fwiw, while it was a very promising start and I'm very happy, it still wasn't quite the dominating performance that you guys are making it out to be.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 You guys are funny. nice mea culpa

LOL no one has called it dominating it was a very good start... dominating is 12 K CG

No. No one has claimed it was a dominating start. It was a very good start, but he didn't dominate. I always said, he's a fine 5th start with upside... and it can all go to hell pretty quick if he's off at all.
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Sanchez is great just like MLB the show told me he would be.
LTR Verified Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 The Blue Jays owe the people of this board millions of dollars. We successfully orchestrated the most elaborate reverse jinx of all time by relentlessly expressing Sanchez sucks... until he no longer sucked.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Would you guys trade Sanchez Now for 4 months of Ceuto?/
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Would you guys trade Sanchez Now for 4 months of Ceuto?/ If a trade for Ceuto happens Norris would be the one that the Reds would want and Jays would trade.
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Would you guys trade Sanchez Now for 4 months of Ceuto?/ Add Chapman and we have a deal
IronLadle Verified Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Add Chapman and we have a deal Sanchez almost threw a complete game shut out, with just a fastball
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 I find it hilariously ironic how much Nox is derided here by certain people.

glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Sanchez's walk rate has been steadily improving as the year has gone on. In his last 4 starts, he has allowed 8 walks in 28 innings. He has the GB rate to get by with a 5-6 K/9, but the walks are the deal breaker for him. Too early to get excited, but at least he's trending forward.

Whatever you want to believe in your little head is fine with me. Doesn't change what I said though, not like he needs my defense. Just interesting to observe.

This team needs all the capable pitching it can get and I really hope his game is rounding out.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Sanchez almost threw a complete game shut out, with just a fastball he had such good sink and movement tonight, the hitters knew it was coming, but they just couldn't get it in the air...it was ground ball after ground ball after ground ball. Sanchez has shown some moments this year where he's had decent command of his curveball and to a lesser extent his change up. The change up is a big pitch...if he can start commanding his other pitches the strike outs will mount up, but that heavy sinker was working and they just stuck with it tonight. The kid still has a lot of developing to do, but he's been pretty good 3 of his last 4 and even in the game he wasn't as sharp he only gave up 2 runs so his confidence must be pretty good right now.

Agreed. Even if he turns into a capable #4-5 starter, I'll be happy with that. I said before the year that he's a reliever long-term but I'll be thrilled if he proves me wrong.
