Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 So how did Hutchison look today? His game line was pretty damn fap-worthy
bendera3 Verified Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 I only got to watch the last inning and a half. How did Hutch look?
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 I don't think he gets that much. I think he would come back to TO for something like 3/24 which is a lot but I think I would do it. That wouldn't be a bad contract to bring him back on. I'd like him back since we've seen what he's able to do especially compared to the closers we've had throughout the years. He comes in and it's all but over. I wouldn't be surprised if some team jumps in and tries to lure him away with a larger offer especially someone like the Yankees because they can get him in their pen and no longer an opponent or any other team that might be desperate. Time will tell. He seems to like it in TO.

Well it does matter. Why give up the chance for a double play The reason they do this is because they don't want to sacrifice defensive positioning on the stolen base.
Governator Community Moderator Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 So how did Hutchison look today? His game line was pretty damn fap-worthy He was on. Ump sort of changed up his zone a bit mid game (though seemed the same for both pitchers). Couple broken bat hits, nothing solid against him (except for maybe Braun's opposite double)
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 So how did Hutchison look today? His game line was pretty damn fap-worthy He looked fantastic. Completely dominant in the first five innings, bulldogged through the next two.
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 12.;37 start tomorrow peeps. dont forget to get in early! Considering I forgot today was a 1PM start I would have forgotten tomorrow's early start.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Great game by Hutch!!!!!!!!
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 So how did Hutchison look today? His game line was pretty damn fap-worthy Fabulous game....his missed his spots quite a bit but his fastball was 94-96 and almost unhittable even in the zone

eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 This team desperately needs to make some moves to acquire some bench depth/try to find a hot hand. Tolleson's line over the last month: .139/.225/.167 We got a decent month out of him but it's time to cut and run. He's a hot mess.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 I won't be able to make the GDT tomorrow, unsure about the upcoming days but definitely can't tomorrow.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 I won't be able to make the GDT tomorrow, unsure about the upcoming days but definitely can't tomorrow. I could do it, but it would be just lineups and preview.
leaffie Verified Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 The reason they do this is because they don't want to sacrifice defensive positioning on the stolen base. I know why they do it, and twice this year that indifferent run came in and scored, and once they lost the game. Just one of my peeves.
leaffie Verified Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 You're dumb Thanks for your contribution.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Is it just me, or do we do better against good teams than against bad teams?? Baseball is a funny sport.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Is it just me, or do we do better against good teams than against bad teams?? It can seem like that because the margins are so close. A good team wins 55% of their games and a bad team 45%. Variance will swamp that difference in a small sample (i.e. a month).

kgm1 Verified Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Didn't catch the game, gotta get satellite TV at the Lake , but looking at the box score and reading the wrap seems Hutch pitched well and the offense did just enough till Lind, Melky and EE broke it open. So much for the Naysayers that posted we would lose these two and the season is over and the f***ing sky is falling.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Is it just me, or do we do better against good teams than against bad teams?? it's called playing down to your opponent. It happens a lot in sports. guys get psyched up for tough games and dont get mentally into the right place for games that should be easy.

Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2014 Author Posted July 2, 2014 I could do it, but it would be just lineups and preview. This might be the best option, I'll be at work
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2014 Posted July 2, 2014 Is it just me, or do we do better against good teams than against bad teams?? I won't look it up 'cause I don't wanna get frustrated by the answer since they're 3-7 against the Twins and White Sox and 3-6 vs the Yanks....
