    Thole was going to be with the Jays for sure. The not offering arbitration was just a formality to save $. There would be worse things than Thole catching Dickey every 5th day and saving Martin from having to do it. IT would still be nice to have a viable option sitting in AAA to play if there was an injury to Martin however.

    Really to start the season last year it was probably worse. Hutch -Stroman Buehrle - Estrada Dickey -Dickey Sanchez -Happ Norris -Chavez

    Still holding out hope we can sign Price or another top guy. a rotation where Chavez (or Hutch) is our #5 would be nice. #1, Stro, Estrada, Dickey, Chavez

    I thought Lackey would accept. I don't see him getting a better deal. I bet he resigns with Cardinals something similar to what Estrada got, that or he is in the same boat as Ervin Santana a couple years ago.

    A lot if "if's" here but IF Rogers sees the value in signing Price what is wrong with keeping Osuna and Sanchez in the pen along with Cecil. The rotation would still potentially be good, Price Stroman Hutchison Dickey (Estrada 2.0) AA will find someone. with a top 3 back end if you include Cecil

    Barney is a very good defensive 2B, smart to pick him up even if Tulo is only going to miss a couple weeks. I sure hope he's back before end of season though. I know Travis was put on the 60-day but man we could use him back now.

    The rule for opening and closing the roof for all stadiums should be this: if the weather would force the cancellation of the game, the roof will be closed. For all other instances the roof shall remain open.

    Agreed! Dickey looks like the guy the Jays thought they were getting when they traded for him. IF the Jays win the World Series it will make trading Syndergaard and Norris worth it no matter what those 2 turn out to be.
