Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 More poor managing by Gibbons. Should have had Rasmus bunt. what? please tell me you're kidding
Governator Community Moderator Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 I'm so sick of RA Dickey West Jet commercials.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Goddammit This offense has been so frustrating to watch this last month
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Poor managing, playing for multiple runs instead of just one Well Tolly struck out and does so a lot so maybe that was the thinking. This team really needs a bat at 2nd or 3rd. Tolleson is a replacement player.
Doc Verified Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 The Blue Jays make every pitchers life so easy they barely have to try, 2 runs of the guy on the mound today that's just disgusting. Hell you could throw the junior team out there and they would put up zeros all game.
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 I'm so sick of RA Dickey West Jet commercials. The one with Lawrie is garbage as well.
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 what? please tell me you're kidding With a lefty on the mound he had almost no chance to get a hit there. He had a much better chance of advancing the runners there with a bunt. I would've bunted as well.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 McGowan needs to throw good pitches here. Edit: Nevermind. Loup first.
pickoff22 Verified Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 More poor managing by Gibbons. Should have had Rasmus bunt. wrong, but ok let's all pile up on Gibbons. Popular misguided theme around here.

At least with Rasmus you have a chance for an extra base hit

Giving away outs is never the solution, unless it's the pitcher at the plate and you don't have a choice.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Go Loup!! Great game Hutch Offense ain't gonna score anymore it seems. All on the BP now
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Loup for the entire inning please. Don't care if it's a RH or LH. Loup --> Janssen. That's it.
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Please not another one of these innings...
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 FFS. Please don't make this the lit fuse.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 I have zero confidence in Mcgowan. Hopefully he can prove me wrong.
CHRIS Verified Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 We basically have a one man pen lately.

Even with a bad matchup, 0 out and 2 on? That's the one spot I feel MIGHT be worth it. Might be wrong. And not upset at the non bunt there either way. Had three chances to score with a single and nobody could get it done
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Is gibbons losing his mind?
eastcoastjaysfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 I don't agree with this at all.
