Excuse my ignorance but I don't know anything about MGL. Is he also one of the other authors of The Book? Does he have an identity beyond those initials?

I have to say JFaS the thing I was most impressed with was your analysis of the results. You really took it one step further and showed the utility of your work, not many bloggers have the aptitude to go that far.

I'd love to see a follow up article applying TIPS to the current FA BP and SP market. I noticed a guy like Shaun Marcum posted a good TIPS and could be a decent bounce back candidate. I'm sure there are quite a few more candidates that I overlooked.

Also, just a suggestion. Maybe a link to the forum in one of the ribbons up top or moving the ad for the forum up to the top of the site might be a better way to gain visitors.

I've been hesitant to because I want to standardize our value calculations first. I'm going to need help from the community at large to do so, so I'm currently working on a post to that end.

 

Hopefully after I get that sorted, I/we can go back and examine McCann and Peralta, and anyone else.

It is really impressive. The writers are excellent, but even so I wouldn't have expected it to take off so fast. The guys should be proud, especially JFaS for the TT shout-out.

We had a couple hundred visits the first day (all from here), and I was really happy with that. The majority of blogs wish to hit 200 visitors in a day, and most will give up before they even reach that point.

The fact we did that in our first day alone was great. I said it will probably take months to get some real traction. Take a long time to get expsoure, and attention from other sites. I guess if you put out the quality

pieces these guys have, it doesn't take that long. We're over 200 visits for the day already. We have people contacting JFaS to write for them already, nothing paid yet, but I think it's a matter of time.

No I did not expect this, just one tweet to tom tango asking him to look at my article and it explodes. I also got emails from two sites asking me to write for them.
