I've just decided to abandon the picture idea, since I am clearly not capable of performing such a monumental task of internetz wizardry.

Jimenez has been playing really well. Pumped to see a great start from Nolin. Hopefully Pompey and Lopes can continue hitting.

Is Donahue really a prospect at all? He's not that great.

Donahue is not a prospect at all.

Pompey and Lopes are doing okay, though Pompey is the same as any other of AA's "athletes." He strikes out too much, doesn't have power and doesn't have a good hit tool.

Lopes has a good hit tool and doesn't strike out a lot, but his 2.2% walk rate needs to come up. At 6'0, 185 he might fill out a bit more and maybe get to average power when he fully develops so that wouldn't be bad for a 2b.

Yeah, my bad, Nolin should have been the performance of the day.

I sent you a trade offer. Just a starting point so don't laugh too hard when you read it.

Wow I just checked Anthony Gose's stats, he's really fallen off a cliff...

Despite the ugliness of his overall slash line, Gose has shown some pretty nice progress this year. His K rate is down 10% from previous and his walk rate is up over 5%. BABIP is a bit low as well so while he's not exactly setting the world on fire, He is showing signs that he might not be a complete liability with the bat.. eventually.

Nolin says "f*** you"

Nolin and Angrioter says "f*** you" lol

Carreno really needs to be moved up. The stats hes putting up are comical.

AS soon as he can throw his fastball for strikes consistently, I would agree. He has a very good slider but it doesn't play if he can't locate his fastball at all. That was his big problem when he was up with the Jays last year.

Pompey seems to be fairly decent at getting on base, though, which is more than Alford and co can say.

Lopes is one of my favorite prospects. I saw a poster on here (very smartly) compare him to a Brandon Phillips-lite. Phillips has never had a BB% over 7% in any sort of meaningful sample, but he's quite obviously a very good 2B. He doesn't strike out much, fields very well, and gets on base a good amount, even without walking, and has a bit of pop. That sounds a lot like Lopes.

Im just going off the numbers but it seems like hes got his fb under control. I think he has like 4 walks in 19 inn. Unless hes just throwing 90% sliders or something

Hey, as long as he doesn't strike out a ton and maintains his line drive stroke, a 5-8% walk rate will do just fine.

Holy crap, Cedar Rapids beat Beloit 23-16.

Yeah they ball flying out of there today. Buxton was a HR shy of the cycle

Can't wait until they rush Nolin to the big leagues this summer and he blows his arm out!

I know he is a non-prospect but as a Philly boy I'd love to see Ben White actually throw a few good games.

He's 23. If he's throwing good stuff, then he might as well do it in the majors.

If he gets hurt he gets hurt, there is no way to prevent TJS so bring him up or don't . We need quality innings and we need them now

Gibby actually seems to let releivers go multiple innings. So it would be possible to get through a game with a young pitcher 5 or 6 innnings, 90-100 pitches then 2 relievers then Jansenn. We do ussually have an 8 man bullpen anyway.

The most IP Hutchison pitched in one minor league season was 72, and Nolin hit 108 last year, so I don't think there's too much more concern about an injury than there would be under normal circumstances.

No, Hutch threw 149.1 innings in 2011 across 3 levels
