  1. I like this positivity! Let's go Jose!
  2. Finally another young arm comes through the system and contributes to the bullpen. He's only 23 and has looked great this year, hopefully it's not a mirage.
  3. Oh man, that was a brutal fall. Hope for the best for that guy.
  4. Amen brother. I have sympathy for their significant others and friends (if they have any).
  5. Finally the long ball showed up! Let's go Jays!
  6. I would say that it's still too early in the season to write off this team, but I'm terrified of being tarred and feathered and don't want to incite the mob.
  7. I love Varsho, but when people are missing his bat in the lineup, things are getting bleak.
  8. Naw bro, Jays hitting three long balls and chasing Carrasco early. You heard it here first.
  9. Goddamn, when Jays24 is the optimist in a thread you know things have really gone south.
  10. Bowden earning every damn penny of his $800k salary.
  11. In Olerud's defense, he came to his senses during the off-season. Hopefully we see that guy around here again.

Whatever happened to this board's Mike Elias Fan Club that claimed the Orioles were the greatest organization and mind trust of all time and insisted to us on a daily basis that Mike Elias' farts smelt of genius?! In the offseason I predicted that the Orioles rotation would be hot garbage and would finally see the wheels come off. I was promptly tarred and feathered.
  13. Take a deep breath, it's a new game!
  14. I can understand that the small sample size is making Gimenez look like something he's not - I agree, he's not going to be a 160lb version of Barry Bonds over the full season. But to say that Gimenez isn't a potential building block? The kid has already accumulated +15 WAR and he's 26 years old. What the f*** qualifies as a building block to you!? It's been amazing watching this kid in the field and you don't have to squint very hard to see him being a well above average shortstop in the near future. Sorry to tar and feather you, but you really need to be tar and feathered.
  15. For Atkins, I still think it’s more like this:
