    Ok, fair enough. Vlad had 1.3 fWAR last season and has 2 fWAR so far this season, we'll see where he ends up. Hopefully I'm wrong and he continues his pace.

    Look at the post I originally responded to for f*** sakes, before you go all half cocked like this. The guy literally said trading Bo and Vlad would make our farm system "powerful". I disagreed. Then you decided to chime in. Yeah trading them would bring some prospects, but it's got a long ways to go before it's a high end system again.

    There is no point in locking Vlad up right now if he is over valuing himself. The guy is basically a 1-3 fWAR first baseman for almost three seasons now. Wait another 1.3 seasons and he'll get to see what he's worth on the open market, and it won't be some astronomical number unless he has another MVP season next year (spoiler alert -- he won't)

    If Bo's injury keeps him from being traded at the TDL, hopefully he has a 150 wRC+ for the rest of the season. Boost that value for the off season at least.

    At the very least, Vlad showing a pulse might mean the Jays can get a good return for him if they don't want to, or can't extend him. Bo on the other hand, holy f*** that guy is hopeless this year. Worthless on the field, worthless at the plate, and probably worthless in a trade too.
