  1. I know all that. I'm saying it's interesting how that as soon as Vladdy slows down just a little bit someone starts s***ing on him.
  2. Since Vlad has amassed 5.2 WAR so far, has a 1.062 OPS, is a threat for the triple crown, actually runs really well and is doing a solid job at 1B I don't think I'm ready to start questioning if he's gained some weight back or not. It's funny how since our manager of the year decided to rest Vladdy for game, Vlad has only put up a .700 OPS in the 4 games he's been back, possibly his worst stretch of 4 games all season and almost instantly some numb nut comes in questioning Vladdy's fitness again.
  3. I love that we have a Juan Gonzalez in the system.
  4. Hopefully Gabe is back soon. Been just about 6 weeks now. So frustrating, he should be tearing AAA a new ******* by now.
  5. Yeah hopefully. I'd rather see what he's got instead of Valera.
  6. Smith got pulled after one at bat today. Anyone know what's up with that?
  7. So the Jays are up to 6 games above .500 for the 4th time this season? And haven't been able to get 7 games above so far correct?
  8. Lol well I digress. Nice job by Dolis there. Well done
  9. I'd prefer to never use him lol But since he's there and they have to use him maybe just for mop up in a blow out
  10. We'll see which Dolis shows up. If its walky Dolis 5 might not be enough lol
  11. 39 pitches already for Ray, just 6 outs. And he got the 1st out on 1 pitch.
  12. Lol I didn't quote him but the guy was asking if the jays should trade for alcantra. I wouldn't spend the prospects to get another SP right now. I think the Jays are set up pretty good that way going forward.
  13. Do the Jays need to trade any more prospect capital for starting pitching right now? Here next year: Ryu Berrios Stripling Manoah Hatch Pearson Thats a solid group coming back, and I would bet they have a really good shot at bringing Ray back too. He reserected his career under the Jays tutelage and the team is on the upswing to boot. He's also already had a taste of pitching in this vaunted division and done well with it. If they decide to spend any more high end prospect capital I hope it's for a guy like Jose Ramirez.
  14. I wouldn't call him an ace, but he's a very good starting pitcher and a workhorse who doesn't just chew through innings but he gives you quality innings. Ryu Berrios Manoah Stripling Jays are set up pretty good for next year too now. Bring back Ray and they are really set.
  15. I meant this time last year. I remember asking about him in the off season and some here didn't think he was even Jays property anymore.
  16. And at this time last year he was all but forgotten about by most. Relievers eh?
  17. Yeah, mayza since the start of June: 1.08 ERA 1.90 FIP 2.32 xFIP 8.10 K/9 1.62 BB/9 0.00 HR/9 Just a stud
  18. Mayza has looked so good for a while now hasn't he?
