    Pearson gave us what I thought Manoah would give us Manoah gave us what I thought Pearson would give us That balanced out for sure Ray has given us what we'd expect from Ryu and Ryu is giving us what we might have expected from Ray, another balancing act. Losing Yates, Merryweather and Phelps for the whole season, and having Chatwood and Dolis completely fall apart is pretty much what sunk this team. And now that the bullpen seems to be doing a little better, the offense has gone into the tank.

    I can't wait for robo umps to be fine tuned and brought to MLB. At the very least it will take ego, vindictiveness and personal feeling completely out of the equation when it comes to balls and strikes.

    Jays sign Ray and Semien to 1 year "show me" deals and they are our WAR leaders with Ray getting Cy Young buzz now. Vladdy breaks out and is an MVP candidate. Manoah comes out of nowhere. Stripling and Matz have strong seasons. +115 run differential. A lot of s*** went right. 4th place in the f***ing division, and Ray/Semien are FA's this off season. Very frustrating.

    2021 6th round pick Hayden Juenger at high A: 12.0 IP 0.830 WHIP 17.25 K/9 2.25 BB/9 Just turned 21. Will be fun to follow his progression. He was a K machine in college too.

    Jays have signed Gregory Polanco to a minor league deal, and they also re-signed Luciano to a minor league deal as well.

    Stripling has been solid this year too and under control for next season as well. If they can get Ray signed, the rotation is set up pretty good and would still have guys like Pearson and Hatch as dark horse/depth starters. Ray Berrios Ryu Manoah Stripling Pearson Hatch Bowden Really want to see Ray back though.

    This is a big week for the Jays playoff hopes. We're playing the Orioles for 3 games and then the A's Meanwhile, Boston plays 7 of their next 10 against the Rays. Also, the Mariners play 6 of 9 against Houston, although they also play 6 of 12 vs Arizona, so.... Anyway, this would be a great time for the bats to break out and fuel a 8-10 game win streak.

    Bryan Baker also. He was reportedly steady 97-99mph and touching 100-101mph when the Jays traded for him 3 years ago. Still learning to control it though, a touch too many walks but getting better.

    Merryweather and Pearson both pitched for the Bisons tonight. Merryweather - 0.2 IP / 2 hits / 1 earned run / 1 walk / 2 Ks // Can't be good that they yanked after 2 outs I don't think, probably tweaked something knowing him. s***** outing anyways though just looking at the box score. Maybe some bloops and/or a squeezing ump? I dunno Pearson - 1.0 IP / 2 hits / 1 earned run / 0 walks 2 Ks Dolis also pitched and took the L, giving up 1 walk, 1 run, 1 hit and 1 K The bullpen sucks ass down there too. With that line up of relievers you'd think it'd be endless 0's going up
