A week and a half ago the Jays were 9.5 games behind the Yankees, now they're 2.5 games back. Wow.
  2. Eat My Shatkins
...and they lost. What a day? What a week so far!
  3. Eat My Shatkins
Overton claimed by the Pirates and AJ Cole has been outrighted.

Love it. Bring back Ray and Semien Go get Schwarber and Syndergaard Trade for Jose Ramirez C - Kirk 1B - Vladdy 2B - Semien 3B - Ramirez SS - Bichette LF - Gurriel CF - Springer RF - Hernandez DH - Schwarber Bench - Grichuk, Espinal, Jansen/Mcguire SP - Ray SP - Berrios SP - Ryu SP - Manoah SP - Syndergaard Could you imagine? Good luck navigating through that line up.

Martinez not in the line up today either. f***
  6. Eat My Shatkins
You can say that again! lol
  7. Eat My Shatkins
So who called this sweep heading to the bottom of the 8th on Friday?
  8. Eat My Shatkins
Can Ray sustain this long term? Have to be sure before you throw $25 million + at him for multiple years.
  9. Eat My Shatkins
Pearson looking like a filthy beast.

If the Jays hadn't lost that game against Baltimore, they would be 8-2 in their last 10, on a 7 game winning streak......and they'd still be 4 games out of the 2nd WC spot. It's going to take a near miracle to make it in. Going to have to go 6-1 or 7-0 against the Yankees and not s*** the bed against Minnesota and Baltimore....and then there is the 6 game against the f***ing Rays to deal with.

No Groshans for a few games now, must have gotten hurt. No Martinez tonight either, hopefully just a rest day.
  12. Eat My Shatkins
I'm not saying Hosmer is good, but you could make a 2 minute long reel of every player in MLB making stupid errors and hitting into double plays. lol
  13. Eat My Shatkins
Might as well get a look at Baker. This f***ing s*** version of the offense isn't coming back in this game.
  14. Eat My Shatkins
That was a lot of weak contact really. Not enough swing and miss though.
  15. Eat My Shatkins
Not much swing and miss so far. Almost got BABIP'ed on another one from Cana
  16. Eat My Shatkins
lol Just nothing can go right lately.
  17. Eat My Shatkins
f*** you, you **** ump Nate paints the inside corner and gets squeezed.
  18. Eat My Shatkins
Please pitch good Nate. Need some hope for next season.
  19. Eat My Shatkins
Oh for f*** sakes down 2-0 already

Pearson gave us what I thought Manoah would give us Manoah gave us what I thought Pearson would give us That balanced out for sure Ray has given us what we'd expect from Ryu and Ryu is giving us what we might have expected from Ray, another balancing act. Losing Yates, Merryweather and Phelps for the whole season, and having Chatwood and Dolis completely fall apart is pretty much what sunk this team. And now that the bullpen seems to be doing a little better, the offense has gone into the tank.

I can't wait for robo umps to be fine tuned and brought to MLB. At the very least it will take ego, vindictiveness and personal feeling completely out of the equation when it comes to balls and strikes.
  22. Eat My Shatkins
    Semien!
  23. Eat My Shatkins
Man I f***ing hate Mountcastle. f*** off you goof.
  24. Eat My Shatkins
Jays sign Ray and Semien to 1 year "show me" deals and they are our WAR leaders with Ray getting Cy Young buzz now. Vladdy breaks out and is an MVP candidate. Manoah comes out of nowhere. Stripling and Matz have strong seasons. +115 run differential. A lot of s*** went right. 4th place in the f***ing division, and Ray/Semien are FA's this off season. Very frustrating.

2021 6th round pick Hayden Juenger at high A: 12.0 IP 0.830 WHIP 17.25 K/9 2.25 BB/9 Just turned 21. Will be fun to follow his progression. He was a K machine in college too.
