  1. Bunch of useless f***s
  2. 12 at bats for f*** sakes
  3. Already Smitty, let's get a big hit here.
  4. 1st and 2nd 0 outs Runner in scoring position though, so..... That's usually when things go south lately lol
  5. Of course, but I think after the update yesterday many were hoping Springer would be back in the Detroit series. Seems less likely now, they could have easily rolled with Teo, Grichuk, Dickerson and Gurriel for a just a couple games.
  6. Gurriel Teo Grichuk Dickerson Dyson Springer Six outfielders? Springer must have tweaked his knee or something.
  7. Not sure about starters but Andrew Miller will be a free agent and has had a rough year. He's 36 now, but was a beast for years. I wouldn't mind if the Jays tried to salvage him for a season. Just don't sign him and then bank on him being a key cog for the bullpen. If he comes in and regains his form it would just be a bonus.
  8. Van Eyk came out after two innings tonight. No walks, no hits, no runs and 3 K's too, so that can't be good I don't think.
  9. Maybe it's more of a mental grind than a physical one for these young inexperienced players?
  10. Jays need to go 24-12 to get 90 wins For Boston to end up with 89 wins they need to go 17-17 (soon to be 16-17 as they are kicking the s*** out of the Twins) For Oakland to end up with 89 wins they need to go 19-16 For Seattle to end up with 89 wins they need to go 20-15
  11. Fair enough, but I don't think there is a legit "ace" type SP on the market in free agency. Not a guy like Bieber anyways. But yeah, definitely over thinking it I guess. I'm just hoping the Jays go hard after Correa, but difficult to get a premier SS to sign long term with the Jays when Bo is already taking that spot.
  12. Super hypothetical here for the off-season, but if the Jays were able to land a stud like Correa in free agency, do you possibly look to flip Bo for a true ace? For example, how cheap is Cleveland? Any way they'd move Bieber? They are a bloody pitching factory anyways. If yes, do you have to add to Bo to get Bieber? How much do you add to get both Bieber and J.Ram? Not that I want a shake up of the young core, but replacing a 23 year old Bo with a 26 year old Correa and then using Bo to land an actual ace starting pitcher wouldn't be the worst thing in the world would it?
  13. 2 more seasons, but I wouldn't say "stuck" is very accurate. He's not an ace anymore but he's still a solid starting pitcher overall. Still second in WAR on the Jays staff, 1st in wins, 2nd in ERA (3rd if you count Manoah but thats a SSS). If you're trying to dump him you better have a pretty f***ing good replacement lined up, or at the very least Ray should be locked up first.
  14. Boy, Kimbrel would look good in a Jays uniform, under contract for next season too. But no, we get Brad f***ing Hand instead. White Sox have an unreal bullpen, and at the deadline they add Kimbrel and Tepera. Jays have a f***ing s*** bullpen and add Hand and Soria.
  15. Sounds like Pearson wasn't commanding the zone very well in his outing yesterday. That's not very encouraging.
  16. Re-sign Ray Re-sign Semien Sign Syndergaard Trade for Ramirez Sign 2, or even 3 decent to great relievers like Givens, Neris, Graveman, Hudson, Loup, Tepera That'd be one hell of a team.
  17. We have control over those three plus Richards for multiple years still. Also Borucki too and well, Merryweather too I guess but you can't count on that band aid for anything but false hope.
  18. Yeah, I think Ray will re-sign as well. Guys career was in the crapper, and he rejuvenated with the Jays, and he could have left last off season too but chose to stay.
  19. On paper it sounds great, especially now in hindsight, to have sold at the deadline. I think it was the right move though to show the team and the league that if they are in the fight the FO won't pull the rug out from under them. Tough to do that to the players and then have them want to stick around long term. Really sucks that our best all around SP and best (or 2nd best) all around position player are set to be FA's though.
  20. lol Jays just drafted the guy, put him at high A and he's doing great so far. Thought people might find it interesting, not everybody scoreboard watches the prospects. You were on me yesterday for mentioning Stadler too. Not everybody has a 6'9 reliever who throws 101 mph BTW If you don't like my updates, just f***ing ignore them? I dunno
  21. A s***** bullpen combined with a s***** manager. Montardo always gave the s***** and/or cold relievers just enough rope to hang themselves.....and the team in the process.
  22. Hayden Juenger has pitched 8 innings in High A now. 15 Ks 2 walks 0.88 WHIP 0 HRs His ERA sucks though. Despite those great numbers it's 5.62, but his FIP is 1.55 and xFIP 2.98
  23. Have 5 guys with 100+ RBIs
