    Jansen and Kirk look like they'll make one hell of a solid tandem next season. Too bad one of them isn't a LHB. I'd love to see them move Moreno to 3B. Jays could save a lot of payroll room if Biggio can bounce back at 2B and they can fill out 3B from within with Espinal/Smith and then eventually Moreno next season. Then use that payroll savings to keep the rotation together, bring back Ray and Matz. Maybe spend a little more on the pen too.

    This is true, but history was not on Ray's side with an ERA over 6 against the Yankees this year and a .935 opponent OPS the third time through the order. The Jays failed themselves by not being prepared for the likely scenario that the Yankees would get to Ray.

    Kirk has been ice cold for a long time now. Jansen has been solid for a while now, no issues with DJ starting. Biggio is a head scratcher though.

    Ray just got hammered by the Yankees this year. 6+ ERA against them, 2+ against the rest of the league. Tonight wasn't the real Robbie Ray, and you are f***ing retarded for starting this thread and many others.

    The Yankees f***ing owned Ray this year. Ray had 2ish ERA against MLB and a 6+ ERA against the Yankees. Honestly, probably shouldn't have lined him up to face the only team that caved his s*** in this year, in hindsight. Or at least had a short leash with the guy.

    Agreed. The team should be already clinched and as disappointing as it is that they aren't, at least they got scorching hot in September and made the last few weeks of the season matter. It looked they were cooked when they were down 8-2 to the A's a few weeks ago.

    Yep, the one against Tampa was last year. He pretty much f***ed Giles out of a premium closer contract all by himself with his misuse and abuse.

    Montoyo should have been fired on July 4th 2019 after he used Ken Giles against the Red Sox for the third game in a row and broke him, just weeks away from the trade dead line. The Jays were 33-54 and 23.5 games out of 1st in the division. Why in the f*** would a guy do something like that other than him being a complete f***ing moron?

    Robo-ump tech absolutely cannot get perfected and brought to MLB fast enough. I am so f***ing sick and tired of watching umpires fumblef*** there way through a game calling balls and strikes with their personal biases and human error getting in the way. It's usually at the worst goddamn time too. Hopefully the pitch clock is something that works well too. Nothing wrong with speeding up the game in my opinion.

    Man that 4-3 vs the Twins was not ideal. Really put them behind the 8 ball. They need help from other teams now and/or have to sweep the Yankees again, as well as basically run the table. Such a piss off. This team should be fighting for 1st overall in the AL, not battling with these donkeys for a wild card. f***ing bullpen and Montoyo.
