    That is what I was saying. The best the 2023 Team could do was a 5 game winning streak. Zero expectations the 2024 team can surpass that.

    So Ross was on saying still time. They need to put together a winning streak. I will point out again, that the longest win streak the Jays had in 2023 was 5 games. The 2023 team was arguably a better team. That means if they replicate the longest winning streak of 2023, they will be back around .500. Sell!!!

    So they are down Varsho and Martinez for today’s game??? I mean Bo is supposed to be back Tuesday and Martinez was going to be sent down anyway. However, down two position players for today’s game is not good. Looks like they will have Clement and Kirk on the bench.

    Since you asked. Out of 10 leagues with each having a minimum 26 man roster, one up to 33 I believe. So 260 players minimum. I have Jansen on 2 teams. Romero on one, and Varsho on one I believe and Bassitt on one. That is it.

    I think it has to do with a possible sell off/ re-tool. Want to get that revenue locked in while you still have “big stars”.

    Yea, but as AA says, look at the run differential of a team at the deadline, that’s how you know if you add or sell etc. 2021 Braves, 2015 Blue Jays etc. The current trend is not looking like the Jays will have a significant number in the plus runs column, anytime soon.

    The difference is the Blue Jays have been s*** for two years now and didn’t do anything about it. They were also at full strength. Let’s see what AA does. I would wager he won’t let it continue through the trade deadline a full off season and 60 plus games into the next season.

    Biggio had 8 middle of the order ABs last year in the ALDS. That is eight too many, especially middle order. DFA him made sure we are not tempted to even try something like that again.

    I have come to the conclusion (and being 100% serious), that Teams disrespect the Jays offense so much, that they purposely bring milb pitchers up to start against the Jays instead of other Teams. This is like the 3rd time now and second time in two weeks. I know in the case of Baltimore, they pushed back Bradish so Povich would start against us.

    Rea's good. You have to tip your cap. You know, we worked deep in the counts, our EV was solid. We will go out there tomorrow and battle and you know. it is just a matter of time until it all starts clicking.
