    I just don't understand this wait until Bo bounces back next year. It is not a solid risk based decision. 1. If another MLB baseball FO believes what the Jays apparently think, that Bo will bounce back, they would want him now, since they have two playoffs runs with him and the potential for him to be better 2nd half of this year. You would be getting MAX value now, not next year with 3 months left on a contract. 2. If our FO does not think Bo will bounce back, why keep him and lessen his already deflated value. If our Team believes Bo will bounce back, I would assume other Teams would also. Either scenario, Bo's value is the highest now, regardless, at any other timer it will be prior to reaching FA. Trade Bo now. Bo is/was one of my favorite players on the Jays. However, the baseball business side of me, and I did it in fantasy also, says sell, sell, sell!

    Relative to the competition yes. Another year older for some of those guys and are you going to get the past 3 months of Springer or the past 16 days. What kinda Bo will you get, Varsho in CF is fine, but he is inconsistent offensively. Guasman with two pitches getting older in the AL East…. Romano who knows what you will get coming off surgery and there were some issues prior to surgery. With Vlad will you have Arreaz or Judge.. We have had that core for a while now. I don’t see why it would be any different. Do you know that Vlad has not hit a HR in the month of July. Even with that week in June where he hit 5 hrs, he is still on pace for a 20hr maybe 22 or 23 HR season…

    I think there is a possibility Kikuchi and others will be more sought after then Crochet. Why would that be Danger? Well sport fans, Crochet has already reached his max IP pitch historically. He is in unchartered territory.. Lot's of risk for later this season. Smart teams know this.

    They would be banking on projections, past history, 1st half slump etc. As mentioned, more value now to the receiving Team with two shots at having him in the playoffs then the offseason. Also, if he does end up sucking the whole year, they won't even take a chance and won't be desperate.

    I will be at the game tomorrow with my family. First time ever I am paying to go see the Jays and hoping they lose. Just so Atkins doesn't get any false hope and do something stupid at the deadline. I guess I will go just for the experience of Oracle Park.

    They need to move Bo- period! We have a unique situation where both ATL and LAD need a SS. The acquiring team will get 2 playoff runs with him. There is very little chance the Jays sign both Vlad and Bo, Bo being less likely. Bo has a good track record is still young, good body type and plays a premium position. Even with his struggles, he has a lot of value. We can get much more now playing the Dodgers vs Atlanta then we can in the off season or next year's trade deadline. Fool's errand thinking this Team will get good enough next year as compared to other Teams in our division's trajectory. Need to get young assets at highest value. Trade Bo now!
